Trump Denies Having Had Mini-Strokes That Nobody Accused Him Of Having.  There can only be one conclusion–he’s had mini-strokes, and he knows it. Now, everybody suspects it.  Probably why he took that ‘very difficult’ cognitive test. An unforced political error. Not to mention, even by his own standards, he’s been saying some weird shit lately:

To name a few: A plane “almost completely loaded with thugs” wearing black uniforms had come to Washington last week to disrupt the Republican National Convention. The president’s opponent in the 2020 campaign, former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr., was being controlled by “people that you’ve never heard of, people that are in the dark shadows.” Police officers like the one in Kenosha, Wis., who shot an unarmed Black man seven times last week — leaving him paralyzed from the waist down — have a hard time with pressure and so “they choke, just like in a golf tournament, they miss a three-foot.”

AOC: 1  Pelosi: 0.  Ed Markey, co-sponsor of the Green New Deal along with AOC, handily defeats Joe Kennedy III in Mass. US Senate race.  While this is the first time that a Kennedy has lost a primary race in Massachusetts, it’s not the first time a Kennedy has lost a primary precisely because he couldn’t explain why he was running in the first place.  Ted Kennedy’s primary challenge of Jimmy Carter in 1980 damaged Carter’s reelection chances, and Kennedy couldn’t answer Roger Mudd’s question on national TV: ‘Why are you running for President?’  There are few things worse in politics than family dynasties.  I can only hope that this marks the end of the so-called Kennedy dynasty. I suspect I’m wrong. BTW, what was Nancy Pelosi thinking in endorsing the challenger here?

Biden’s ‘Sister Souljah’ Moment.  I’m already sick of this campaign.  The only impact this will have is to dampen enthusiasm among voters who are already holding their noses to vote for this ‘moderate’.  BTW, apropos of nothing, how many paid consultants did it take to come up with ‘Build Back Better’? Jee-zus.

Trump Didn’t Go To Dover To Meet With Families Of Soldiers Killed Overseas. Lied About It.  One more reason why it appears that he’s trailing with military voters.

The Wall–Will Fall.  Not a matter of if, but when. Flooding will be its literal downfall.  The company that built this private wall?:

Since Fisher’s companies embarked on construction of the Rio Grande fence, the Trump administration has awarded about $2 billion in federal contracts to the firms to build segments of the border wall in other locations.

Wasn’t it Kris Kristofferson who wrote, “There’s no success like failure’?

as stated before, voting for biden is a proxy for harris. 78-80 years old is a very difficult time and both trump and biden are showing their age. i think biden’s hiding because mentally he is slipping quicker than he expected and needs a couple days to regroup

This is turning out to be the worst election in my memory, with regard to the choice of candidates. What we have is two elderly men, long past their prime, and approaching early senility. And one of them is completely off the rails. So the choice should be between the second in command.

In that case, Harris>Pence, and Jill>Melania.

and a rhetorical question – why the hell is carney allowing rehoboth bars opening just for this weekend?
