If Trump wants to hurt Barr he shouldn’t fire him

Trump’s brain is such a worm-eaten mess, he doesn’t see that Barr is playing him like a fiddle.

I actually hope (Barr firing) doesn’t happen because, as Paul said earlier this week, it seems pretty clear that the wily old Phalangist is angling to get back in the good graces of as much as the legal establishment as possible. (This may seem ridiculous, but Ken Starr was welcome on the New York Times op-ed page even after presiding over a rape campus. The great elite legal/media circle jerk is nothing if not forgiving.) Getting defenestrated by Trump would only help his efforts; hopefully Jared can explain this to the Don.

Yep, Barr has an exit strategy, just like Melania. On a lighter note where is Karma when you need it?

More than any other recent news, Barr’s break with Trump convinces me that the dam is about to crumble.

Too many Democrats (Coons) are going to declare that we need to let bygones be bygones. That, of course, is some absolute bullshit that will probably ensure Dems lose seats in the midterms.
