Connect The Seditionist Dots…

Then do something.  This message is for AG Kathleen Jennings, Secretary of State Jeff Bullock, and anybody else who might have some authority.

First, read this.  This is how state officials look at how to deal with Trump’s many shell corporations incorporated in Delaware.  Excellent article.

Then, read this.  A key excerpt:

Following OpenSecrets investigations into the Trump campaign’s use of shell companies, the nonpartisan Campaign Legal Center filed a July 2020 FEC complaint asserting that the Trump campaign and its joint fundraising committee may have violated federal election reporting rules by “laundering the funds through firms” concealing details of the campaign’s financial dealings.

Let’s now stir in a soupcon of history: The shell company that Michael Cohen established in Delaware for the express purpose of hiding payments from Trump to adult thespian Stormy Daniels:

Two weeks before the 2016 General Election, Cohen created Essential Consultants LLC to funnel $130,000 in what he would later call “hush money” to former adult-film star Stephanie Clifford, professionally known as Stormy Daniels.

The previous month he had created Resolution Consultants LLC with the intention, according to federal prosecutors, of reimbursing the National Enquirer’s parent company for its $120,000 purchase of a story from former Playboy Playmate Karen McDougal about her involvement with Trump.

The media company, called AMI Inc., bought the story to prevent others from printing it in what is called a “catch and kill” scheme, according to prosecutors. It did not intend to publicize the allegations of an affair.

This led to the dissolution of the two shell corporations following legal action by the Attorney General’s office.

Since then, Congress passed legislation banning anonymous shell corporations in the United States (gee, I wonder how that will impact Delaware’s finances…).

We know that Trump campaign entities funneled money to organizations supporting the January 6 attack on the Capitol.  While the money has not yet been thoroughly traced, the sheer difficulty in tracking the money suggests that these Delaware shell corporations used by Trump were a likely vehicle to disburse these funds.

It is time for the AG, the Secretary of State, and state and federal law enforcement and justice officials to force disclosure of how the money was disbursed.  Not even Delaware shell corporations are immune from being a vehicle for sedition.  Time to hold them accountable. And, yes, Trump as well.

“The mob was fed lies,” McConnell said on the Senate floor Tuesday. “They were provoked by the president and other powerful people, and they tried to use fear and violence to stop a specific proceeding of the first branch of the federal government which they did not like.”
