Here’s a radical idea: Park in a parking lot and carry your gear to the beach. Too much trouble? Buy your fish at the market and your drinks at a bar.

I lived in the Bethany area for 20 years and surf “fisherpeople” were the rudest loudest, drunkest and most self entitled people on the beach. the ratio of party people to actual fisherpersons was more like 98-2! I did enjoy watching the steady stream of Bozo’s who did not lower the air in their tires and thus paid large towing fees when they got stuck. My mechanic at the time was a AAA guy and he made bank every year!
