In the slaying of Daunte Wright whatever happened to the cops only shoot when they feel their life or the life of someone else is in danger? A fleeing suspect endangers no one. Should the cop be fired? Sure, and charged with murder. Glad to see the creepy cop that pepper sprayed and abused the black man, active duty and in uniform, has been fired. How many dozens of others has he abused before this? That and screw Robert Martinelli, suggest he move to Florida to be nearer to his Hero DeSantis.
Robert Martinelli, who runs a magazine as an excuse to hold a big party every year? I didn’t give a fuck what he thought even when I wrote for the magazine. “CEO” is a good one, though. We used to call it a “publisher,” but I guess that doesn’t sound self-important enough.
Everything is wrong with the Daunte Wright stop-n-shoot:
– Pretextual traffic stop
– Outstanding warrant (probably for some dumb bullshit that mostly affects black people in that neigborhood)
– Shooting an unarmed citizen (no reports of Wright having a gun)
– Shooting into a fleeing vehicle
If Wright’s warrant was for some serious violent crime, the cops would have leaked that info already.
The main difference between the police and other terrorist organizations is that the police have spiffier uniforms.
Fox was quick to point out he was arrested for weed and “disorderly conduct” which is the most bullshit charge that exists.
There are now conflicting reports on what he was stopped for and what the warrant was for. That needs to be resolved under oath.
