    Condeming violence is fine with me. Condemning these Hamas rocket attacks on Jerusalem is also fine with me.

    The problem with that Coons statement is what he does not say. It’s the Coonsian analog of “All lives matter.”

    How about condemning Israeli airstrikes that have left 28 civilians including “TEN CHILDREN” dead. How about condemning Netanyahu’s policies of expanding into territories historically owned and occupied by the Palestinian people. How about condemning Netanyahu’s belligerent and incoherent policies of aggression that are a thinly veiled attempt to maintain his political position despite his record of engagement in multiple corruption scandals.

    There is the Coons camp, that is happy and supportive to let the current Israeli administration expand territory and run homicidally amok.

    And there is the American hard left (“don’t call it anti-Semitism”) which is slavering for removal of US support for Israel and for Palestinians or their allies to eradicate Israel either demographically, or by force.

    I’m disgusted with both camps. There is no policy camp in America that wants peaceful co-existence and peaceful homelands for Israel and Palestine.
