Michael Gableman as part of his election review for Republicans hired one investigator who has sought to overturn the presidential results and another who this year worked closely with a felon to examine Wisconsin’s ballots.
In hourlong testimony before an Assembly committee, Gableman on Wednesday said he made legal filings this week against the mayors of Green Bay and Madison because he believed they had not cooperated with him. No record of the filings could be found in the state’s online database of court cases and officials from the two cities said they did not know what Gableman was talking about.

Rethugs ‘Normalizing Violence’ In March Towards Fascism. The press handles it in the same way that they normalized Trump–by failing to provide context. And failing us:

She’s right. She and Gosar are in lockstep with a Republican party whose face can be seen in the death threats now routinely meted out not only to nationally famous politicians such as AOC, but to the officials and volunteers who serve in public health, local government or on school boards across the country.

As Fascist America looms and intense, violent stupidity is normalized it spurs me on to get the phuck out before the excrement hits the fan. Keeping the house and land as it’s all paid for and scouting out where to live in sunnier climes. Wish I could follow Alby to France, but suspect it’s beyond my humble means. My Spidey Sense tells me the 2022 elections will be a prelude to the mass hysteria that will be the 2024 election, suspect even the death of Trump will not stop it as he merely lit the fuse that now glows bright. Yes friends, it’s save yourself time as nobody else will. Not even Chris the Wonder Coons.
Intense, violent stupidity will almost always crush calm, reasoned debate. Dems missed their opportunity last year to harness the BLM energy and focus it on the trumpists. The moral high ground is a fake idea. There are plenty of people who are mentally unwell or just looking to engage in sanctioned violence, so long as they know their side might win and they will not face severe consequences. These are the foot soldiers that can do the dirty work.
As planting crops in the west, and liquid water from snowpack become the things of memories, I’m sure we’ll get a lot more speeches like the one from Madison Cawthorn.
