Rep. Brady Arrested For Shoplifting Incidents

Filed in Delaware, Featured by on January 25, 2022

This is just sad.  He got away with the first one.  He got caught the second time.  Left a store with about $200 in groceries twice w/o paying for them.  Was caught the second time. Refused to pay for the items and left.  Car had his legislative tag on it:

According to Newark Police, Brady allegedly attempted to leave the Acme at 100 Suburban Drive without paying for a shopping cart full of merchandise worth shy of $200 around 5:20 p.m. on January 12, 2022. Confronted by a loss prevention employee, Brady declined to pay for the items and left, police said.

Authorities said the employee at the location recognized Brady from a previous, unreported shoplifting incident and obtained the license plate number from his vehicle in the parking lot. Police said he told officers Brady had performed similarly on December 29, 2021, and was seen on surveillance footage removing merchandise worth less than $200 without paying for it.

No point in dunking on him any more. Just hope someone can help him.

This reminds me of a morning when I was tired and walked into WaWa, poured a cup of coffee and groggily walked out without paying not realizing that I had done so until I was 5 minutes down the road. At this point I panicked and returned to the store to pay for the coffee and apologize. Upon doing this the cashier laughed at me and told me I did not have to pay.
