    On a related note – sometime in the next 30 days we’ll pass 1 million covid deaths in the good ol’ USofA. That this milestone will largely go unnoticed is some kind of triumph of bipartisanship, I suppose.

    It is funny to think that when this all started I cluelessly said “If this is bad and gets to 400,000 or so deaths, at least we’ll see widespread and significant changes.” Now I think 3 million could die and we could shrug it off.

    Not “ha ha” funny.
