Of course I’m not a highly paid DC consultant, so I can’t grasp the virtues on trying to run on some Solomonic compromise with fanatics. Big brain DC types like Coons probably have a good reason for “Why not abort half the baby?” is a good Dem talking point.
I see it as the Dems best “talking point”, Coons or not. The truth is the Americans want free and safe abortion, and for a change that cuts across party lines. Old enough to remember when “The Pill “was a hot topic, suspect it will be again as the far right tightens it’s grip on the supreme court.
