Another white mass murdered get the kid glove treatment from cops:
Robert “Bobby” E. Crimo III taken in Alive. Don’t tell me we don’t have a problem with race in this country. #JaylandWalker killed no one and got shot 60 times.
Nobody is saying cops should murder white people at the same rate they murder unarmed African Americans. But stop fucking murdering unarmed African Americans.
I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve never felt less connected to this country than I do now. My patriotism deficit is large and growing by the day.
I was thinking about Jefferson, Washington and those guys and tried to cheer myself up a bit by constructing some rationalization along the lines of “Well, they never really intended women and minority to have rights anyway…so….?”
It didn’t help.
Same here, I lost any sense of patriotism many years ago, and to some extent I fear the future in America. Fascism is on a rapid rise as is racial hatred. To some extent I want to run the hell away from it.
Another continuing sign of 2 America’s:
Young white male murders and maims dozens “we have a mental health problem in out country”
Young black man murders and maims several in shooting “all these single mothers with babies from five different on welfare is the problem”
The Onion, as usual, the only credible news source left in America:

Patriotism is a function of nationalism. Nationalism has been promoted for hundreds of years to prevent the sort of tribal violence we now see in America — in other words, find your enemies farther from home.
It’s a half-assed solution but nobody has come up with anything that works any better.
That’s the most succinct and insightful description of the wretched human condition I’ve ever read.
Crimo, the young mass killer is a nihilist that took revenge for his daddy losing a Mayoral election nothing more or less. Don’t be fooled by our incompetent corporate press that has so many political reporters that they fail for many reasons to do their job.
Even though he looks like he’s strait out of Deliverance, he loved the lime light.
The corporate press is really latched on to this because they don’t have to work so hard on the Ohio Police assassination of a young black man. I believe it is in Akron Ohio. A real bad situation of 60 rounds fired into the guy. The Roman Coliseum would be roaring. Please remember this is just my opinion of news stories. That’s all folks.
I don’t think Democratic office-holders understand how angry their supposed base is.

As noted before few of us like the national Democratic party or have faith they’ll get it right for a change. But as also noted in the past there is no place else to go, no progressive party and none likely to appear. Regardless it would split the Dems and doom us to eternal defeat, but only if the supreme court doesn’t do it first.
