Ted Cruz Wants to Use Crypto in U.S. Capitol Vending Machines

The ACCEPT Resolution could see the Capitol Complex accepting cryptocurrency for payment at vending machines.

There’s no such thing as a free lunch (or snack) and Texas Senator Ted Cruz knows this, which is why the conservative wants to bring cryptocurrency into Congress.

On Wednesday, Cruz introduced the ACCEPT Resolution, which stands for Adopting Cryptocurrency in Congress as an Exchange of Payment for Transactions Resolution. If adopted, the resolution could see the U.S. government contracting with food vendors and vending machine operators that accept cryptocurrency. The ACCEPT Resolution is not a bill, but a concurrent resolution, which are used to make or amend rules for the House and Senate, meaning that the ACCEPT Resolution wouldn’t apply to any vending machines or food sales outside of the Capitol property.

Sure, stupidity and an exaggerated sense of self worth is rampant in Washington, and we’re the fools that keep people like Cruz in place. Interesting to notice Cruz has now hitched his wagon to a monumental failure like crypto currency, it’s very name screams it’s a fraud and as ever a scheme. You would think a multi billion dollar failure resulting in jail would deter the little far right warrior, but here’s wishing he keeps at it, as we need a laugh, and Cruz needs jail.

No lie, this is what I heard today on the news about crypto. The interview was with a guy who wiped out the family savings $250,000 investing in crypto.

Interviewer: Would you ever invest in cryto-currencies again?
Guy: Yes. Especially now because the price is so low. But I don’t have any money to put in.

    Swear to God.

You know what I hate (not as much as MAGAts, but still)? Stupid acronyms for legislation. And Ted Cruz.
