A Republican Governor vetoed a LEOBOR bill because the Attorney General opposed the measure, but it was eventually signed into law by a Democratic Governor (now US Senator)?

So. Castle and Oberly opposed it, and for the right reasons. Carper and Jane Brady supported it, so it became law.
