Tennessee to make drag performers register and wear pink triangles
Ok. No pink triangles yet. But this makes it seem inevitable.
You thought the Tennessee drag ban was bad? wait til you see TN 841. This bill would force REGISTRATION of “male or female impersonators” by means of forcing them to register for permits. It does not define what an impersonator is.

Note how the language/logic pathway works here. First it defines “adult cabaret performance” as “male and female impersonators” Then it says all adult cabaret performances must be registered for a permit. We are going straight back to Stonewall days.
