Short one today with Thanksgiving prep on tap. Today: Pies – pumpkin, apple and pecan. Republicans should spend more time baking pies instead of thinking of ways to make life as miserable for the rest of us as it is for them.
Elon Musk, who wants to play Nazi and not get called out for it, filed suit against Media Matters for pointing out that advertisers on Xitter are supporting Nazism while they support Musk.
Texas AG Ken Paxton, the one-eyed muscle of derp, is going to help Musk out by launching an investigation into Media Matters. It’s not that Republicans don’t know how to govern, it’s that they don’t even know that’s what government is for. They think it’s for lining their own pockets, hurting their enemies and doing favors for their friends. To be fair, I think they might have learned this from city-machine Democrats, just as Democrats learned to give handies to corporations from Republicans.
The MAGA crew isn’t even subtle about their Nazism anymore, because their cult leader isn’t. Trump quotes Hitler just about daily, though that might just be the further deterioration of his already feeble brain letting the real Trump show through. You see, under that facade of narcissism and hatred lies a deep cesspool of narcissism and hatred.
Just a reminder that all those stories will fade away, but this one won’t: Humans are still pumping ever-increasing amounts of greenhouse gas into the atmosphere, which means that, in scientific terms, we are well and truly fucked.
The floor’s yours, but watch out for that open oven door.
Hall Suing Oates. Is nothing sacred?:

Sounds like it’s one on one.
I can’t go for that.
Making the pies from scratch?
I have found my subscription to NYT which includes NYT Cooks has been the best investment for holiday recipes.
Happy Thanksgiving!
I gave up on making crust from scratch because mine was no better than Pillsbury’s.
