    Weekly sign waves on Del. 1 near Rehoboth draw scores of people even in bitterly cold weather. This morning’s drew far, far more than usual, judging by a video on Facebook from the southbound lanes and what I saw in person on the northbound. Indivisible Southern Delaware likely will post morning crowd estimates on Facebook before long. Another, possibly much larger Rehoboth event is scheduled for 2-4 p.m. at the city bandstand. https://www.mobilize.us/nokings/event/901643/

    I went to Dagsboro, which I believe is a relatively new location for sign waves and hadn’t been an especially popular one … until today. I’d guess there were 100 or so of us along U.S. 113. Some of us left early, at the urging of folks monitoring the event, because we’d parked in an unauthorized area (a shuttered convenience store), whose owner reportedly had complained. If there was a reasonable parking alternative, l didn’t notice it.
