   Man, they are expecting an absolute ass-kicking in November, and none of them want to go down in pain.

   If we had a competent Democratic infrastructure in Sussex, we might even flip a seat or two down there, but we don’t, so that ain’t gonna happen.

     In fairness, we’ve flipped both a Senate seat and a House seat down there in the past 6 years. And there are at least some credible D’s who have filed as well. I think Sussex is on the right track. Some of those districts simply are MAGA refuges now.

   Wow, Dems below the canal may finally have to vote for a Dem! I hope they’re ready. They have solid options this time. His statement on Facebook refers to recent health challenges, but I think he has read the writing on the wall and knows it is hard to defend DUI. If I remember right, when he was on School Board and got a DUI, he did the same. Retired from the board, then waited until some voters forgot and ran for the House.

   My goodness have some heart, if your “spy” told you that he wasn’t running and heard his announcement, they also explained the health challenges he has – common humanity and decency is expected. I would not wish that plight on anyone.

   In the current political climate, the Democrats have the candidates and support needed to flip two state house seats as well as flip two county council seats in Sussex.
