Welles hails from Ozark, Ark., but his politics are the opposite of what you might expect. He’s clever and funny, and the sardonic humor often carries a sharp sting. In “Nerd Reich,” which dropped earlier this week, he runs down the Trump crew’s latest exploits, observing “they hired a clown, we get the whole damn circus.”
