Deranged President Gets Derangier. Look, I’m not a fan of Morning Joe either. But THIS? That boy ain’t right.
County Projects On Hold Over Location of Paramedic Station. Couple of goobers holding construction projects hostage.
Phony Voter Fraud Commission Seeks Unprecedented Private Information On Every Voter. Nothing to see here, folks. It’s not as if we have a democracy to protect.
What Do You Give A Dictator Who Has You In His Hip Pocket? How about easing sanctions on Russia? RussiaRussiaRussia.
Not Proof Of Collusion, But Evidence At the Very Least. Michael Flynn, Roger Stone, some guy named Peter Smith. Remember, absence of proof is not proof of absence. Drip, drip, drip.
Budget Disarray In Illinois. Three years w/o a state budget. Moderate R resigns after being undercut by right-wing R governor.
What do you want to talk about?
Yeah. The Republican President is an angry, unstable, man baby. Who could have predicted it?
I’m trying to understand how anyone can witness his behavior and think he’s their man
They put their tribal identity above everything. That and FoX News creates an indestructible bubble.
Regarding Kris Kobach and his request for the states to give his “Commission” all of the voter records registration information. No Way should we ever concede to this. California has already denied the request from the “Not My President” who said millions of illegal voters voted for Clinton in California. If we give him these records just watch how many Democratic voters disappear off of the roles!
Call or email our State Elections Commissioner and let her know how you feel:

I called!
Remember, the Republicans can’t win if they discuss issues that, they know, nobody likes so they only way they can win is to keep people from voting.
Yeah, the Virginia governor has also made clear he won’t share the records either.
Illinois is for liberals what Kansas is for conservatives: Proof that their major party is incapable of governing.
Political parties are about themselves and the people who have power in the party.
Because right-wing trolls (lookin’ at you, fbh) like to insist the connections between Trump and Russia are made up, I’m going to post links to interesting stories occasionally, so the trolls can amuse us by pretending they don’t have the sense god promised a billy goat.
This story, for example, gives lie to the notion that we KNOW the elections weren’t affected:

In other news Senator Coons takes a public stance.

It’s a step in the right direction anyhow. I asked that he be more public about the fight and he has done. Keep pushing on these people…
just saw “Wonder Woman.” enjoyed it. a popcorn movie, but better than a lot of the others (of the relatively few I’ve seen). then I get home and read the reviews. there was a david edelston review online from new york magazine. he didn’t like it much and cited legitimate reasons. it turned out that he got a lot of grief for the review, not only because he didn’t like it but also because he didn’t call it an important movie. he later wrote a kind of abject apology but it did not mollify his critics, who seemed to be mostly women who had felt empowered (woman superhero, woman director). in the apology he allowed as how he was wrong not see its importance but still didn’t think it was a very good movie. this did not mollify his critics, who continued to harp on every perceived slight as though he had no right to criticize the movie in any way. some suggested only women should review movies about women.
I bring this up because it seems to be in line with what we talked about earlier re: Serena — that on the left as well as the right there is a penchant for shutting out anything that might threaten political opinions. I get the empowerment idea, but this is small, rigid thinking. by the way, I liked “Wonder Woman” much more than Edelstein did. world war I and david Thewlis! and gal gadot is a treat, but maybe I’m not supposed to say that. highly recommended.
his name is spelled Edelstein. also mud.
ok, that one should be “Mudd.” my references are flawed but not important.
21 states so far have told Kobach to forget it. Why hasn’t the De Election Commisioner said the same thing Are you going to wait till this faux democratic administration doesn’t even say no? Hey call her!
Not a call for the Elections Commissioner. That’s a call for the Governor to make. I think he will make the right choice here–after the vast majority of states already weigh in.
To be fair, he is kinda busy right now.
