Thaddeus: Is the new administration going to get rid of the “don’t ask don’t tell” policy?
Gibbs: Thaddeus, you don’t hear a politician give a one-word answer much, but it’s yes.
There’s no detail, no timeline, but this is certainly hopeful. It is way past time to eliminate this destructive and discriminatory policy.
I wish he’d get rid of DADT on day one but I hear there will be a bit of a delay. I think they’re trying to make sure they don’t get the same smacking around that Clinton got.
Some hundred retired military officers think the policy is stoopid.
I’m not buying it. Barry is a politician and there is nothing to be gained from this.
