Philly And Dallas Have Something In Common. Cops who post racist comments on Facebook.
If You Haven’t Reread 1984 Lately, Here’s Why It Might Be Time. You may think you know it, but you just might be wrong.
Are We ‘Wiping’ Away Our Forests? Why is TP being made from virgin forest material? What are the alternatives?
America’s Indefensible Military Budget. Read this. You’ll learn something.
What do you want to talk about?

The alternative is hemp, it grows quick and is easy to grow, it used to have a dramatically bigger presence before politicians made their usual mess of it. After a brisk eighty years of being banned for no real reason now it’s starting to come back. As for the military budget and the deficit I hope to live long enough to see both implode as we pay the price of this sick game, the Reagan era led to massive deficits but the real damage was that the politicians learned they would pay little or no price for exploding the deficit and fighting endless wars.
And bringing home ‘the bacon’ to their districts.
Yep, it’s yet another cookie jar they can’t keep their greedy hands out of, the Social Security Trust Fund comes to mind.
Salon’s Andrew O’Hehir, who has long been skeptical of impeachment, has changed his mind:
“There is no further need for earnest debate and deliberation, for “thinkpieces” about what the Democrats should do or whether the Republicans can be redeemed. We require no more condescending anthropological surveys of Trump voters in tariff-stricken farm states or woebegone Midwestern towns. Their suffering is of no consequence. Their hero is a tyrant and a killer. He must be contained, neutralized, resisted, defeated and, if possible, humiliated. By any means necessary. If that can be done, we can figure out later whether we still have a country, and whether it can be saved.”

The forest on the inland bays that are bulldozed and ground up and spread on the ground and then the streams die
Last week in Rehoboth my wife and kids were ogling the ostentatious new mansions going up around Silver Lake, and I explained “That’s wealth inequality in action. Whatever that guy did to make that much money caused a thousand families like ours to drop out of the middle class.”
Bunker mindset. Exactly so.
I was biking back there on East Lake the other and some ladies walking by asked me if I lived there. I think my tie dye shirt and shark horn made them suspicious. I told them I was born into this social class but an evil nurse tragically switched me at birth to a middle class family and I was here to reclaim my roots. They gave me a disapproving glance and walked on.
Good work. Quality interaction. Also fits within the Bunker rubric.
Thank you, I try. I’m still looking for a woman in Henlopen Acres who wants a boy though.
