This fundraising letter from the “Longhurst/Poore team” landed in my mailbox today.

Here is the PDF: Dear Friend.pdf

I’m not in the Longhurst/Poore team’s district, but must have been added to their marketing list because I am on the 9th RD committee.

We’re they getting all banged up at crabby dicks when they wrote this?

  2. Wow. You’ve got Delaware’s two most corrupt legislators banding together to double-down on their avarice.

You’d almost think that these two could dip into their not-insubstantial coffers, courtesy of their two no-show jobs that they have ONLY because they can funnel money to their employers. And they could, but they won’t.

This underlines the need to find challengers to BOTH of these miscreants. C’mon, folks, don’t force me to play some more Stealth Sondheim to lure you in. Step up.

    • Which one is “courage” and which is “commitment” ?

      • puck

Aren’t those the names of the two stone lions in front of the New York Public Library?

… just checked, the lion’s names are Patience and Fortitude.

  3. “And for what? For a little bit of money. There’s more to life than a little money, you know.”

I think Billy Bob Thornton just said that on season 4 of “Goliath.”

El, we’re both old. O-o-o-ld. We met when you recruited me in the effort to overthrow Gene Reed with a youngster named Carper.

    • Ohhh, NOW I know who you are!

Yes, there was a time when Carper was the reform guy.

      • There was a time when Coons was the reform guy.
