Song of the Day 4/22: AC/DC, “Dog Eat Dog”

Kevin McCarthy has never been among the sharper tools in the GOP congressional shed — he once voiced his belief, in front of witnesses, that Trump was on the Kremlin payroll — but he really should have seen that Rachel Maddow coming with that right cross. Maybe somebody should warn him that when push comes to shove — and it always does — Republicanland is a vicious hellscape of all against all.

Republicans are quick to tear apart a wounded comrade, but despite the cliche, that’s not something dogs actually do. As any SuxCo slackjaw knows, that’s a trait of chickens.

The song is from the band’s 1977 “Let There Be Rock” album, when Bon Scott was still fronting the band.
