Good Thing These Kids Didn’t Have Guns in Their Bookbags
Some patently stupid administrator and his idiotic teachers decided that it would be “helpful” to stage a fake gunman attack on their sixth grade class during a week-long field trip. The kids were hiding in a room, in the dark, believing that there was a lunatic from the NRA asylum coming to kill them. The parents were not amused.
I do wonder whether stupidity like this would happen if some of the kids had guns in their bags. Colt 45, now with more teacher-stopping power! I wonder if that is how the Murfreesboro, TN school board spent the referendum money they got last time?
Looking at their student code of conduct, this drill could fall under the prohibition of gang activity or association.

If the school is going t pull this kind of crap they should at least arm the kids with fake guns.
This kind of stuff is unbelievably stupid. All it does is scares the shit out of the kids and increases the likelihood of someone getting hurt. Not to mention if there ever is a real active shooter situation the kids might just think it’s a drill.
They do the same moronic stuff @ colleges too.

What if someone had been carrying in violation of school rules when this “exercise” had taken place? It’d be hard to fault someone who killed the “mock gunman,” because who really expects a University to pull a stunt like this?
If the students involved in these fake scenarios decided to fight back things could end very badly for the mock gunman.
dude, like 2 months old, get a life
funny thing is I likely actually agree with you on this topic.
Oh, and you felt compelled to respond to my comment, so perhaps you should heed your own advice?
ha!
Yeah, your ego would never allow you to heed your own advice.
