More of the same…

President Bush called on the House of Representatives today to renew a surveillance law that expired this month and to protect telecommunications companies from lawsuits, saying it was “not fair” to allow the firms to be sued for cooperating with the federal government’s efforts to monitor terrorist suspects.

OHHHHHH, so I see, it’s not fair because you know you broke the law? And those evil Lawyers will bankrupt the companies that were only protecting Merika? OH FOR GOD’S SAKE!

“I get briefed every morning about threats we face, and they’re real,” Bush told the National Governors Association at the White House.

Just hang on to that statemment for a brief second. So he get’s “briefed every morning” WOWWWWWW!!!! DAMN the urgency! oh god, the President of the United States! Briefed every morning (not boxered rimshot…thankyou) about THREATS! FUCKING THREATS MAN! Do you know how dangerous a Fucking Threat is? That is like, like, like, well it’s really bad man! It’s a threat! and this guy is getting FUCKING THREATS EVERYDAY!! God damn I don’t feel safe right now knowing that AT&T could get sued because they broke the law! FUCK GEORGE GIVE THEM IMMUNITY GOD DAMNIT! We are getting threats everyday!

Do you know what the kicker is? they are real! UH-HUH that’s right fucking REAL THREATS, EVERYDAY THIS GUY GETS. HOLY SHIT! it’s like, like, like we are threatened as a country. And I feel like one of those caged animals on a bad Fox Series “When Donviti’s Attack” I could go all nucking futs on someone right now. MY PRESIDENT and yours IS GETTING BREIFED EVERYGODDAMNEDMOTHERFUCKINGHOLYTERROROF A DAY and in those Briefs are REAL FUCKING THREATS! holy shit..

but we aren’t done…oh man..this is getting horrible. I’m pretty sure that with everyday gone by we don’t let Verizon get off scott free for breaking the law and spying on ALL americans I could be bombed by another terrorists that was born in Saudi Arabia, came to this country on a Student Visa and Killed 3000 people all a month after some moron was handed a Memo that tells him Osama is determined to fly a plane into a building”

don’t you understand people? That if we don’t have all the warning signs for the next big attack we can’t protect you like the last time we, uh, err, protected you…but wait here’s more!

“In my judgment, we have got to give the professionals who work hard to protect us all the tools they need. To put it bluntly, if the enemy is calling to America, we really need to know what they’re saying. And we need to know what they’re thinking. And we need to know who they’re talking to. . . . It’s essential that we understand the mentality of these killers.”

I don’t have the energy for this last one. But I do appreciate him being blunt with me. The last line I think is the best. I couldn’t agree with you more George and the sooner we get you out of office the sooner history can start looking back and answering that question about, Cheney, Rummy and the rest of you disgusting examples of Self Described Patriots.

(I would spit on your grave Mr. President) given the chance I probably will one day….for all the criminals you have protected and all the innocent people you have murdered as well as for the harm you done to my country.

Daily briefs of real threats people…the hits keep on rolling.

The biggest and most serious news I got out of this post: Welcome back, DV! How was Vegas?

  2. Brian says:

    DV- Breathe in, Breate Out.

  3. nemski says:

DV, are you off your meds again?

  4. Von Cracker says:

    Be afraid; very afraid!

Afraid like the former CEO of Quest, the one large telecommunication company that refused to spy on its country and lost major government contracts because of it…..the CEO is currently fighting the Feds against insider trading charges…wonder if his company’s stance had anything to with that, Gonzo? Maybe we should ask the former governor of Alabama….

Two points that blow Bu$hCo’s silly argument out of the water…

First, saying that Congress not providing Telecom Amnesty will hinder wiretapping of suspected terrorist calls –

    Bullshit!!!

The FISA courts can still give 72 hour after-the-fact warrants, and Bu$h could have extended the current situation offered by Congress, but refused. This was after Bu$h saying in no uncertain terms that some of us will die because he didn’t get exactly what he wanted.

Two – The Telecoms stopped doing the taps because the Fed DID NOT PAY ITS BILL…..so much for patriotic duty….

It’s the Rule of Law, fellas….not the rule of men.

  5. Brian says:

Do not be afraid. Be men. Stand up and get all the Dem’s to fix it. If we do not, no one will.

  6. donviti says:

awesome. It allowed me to escaped this bullshit.

but while I was there for they held some democratic thing for their upcoming primary. they expected 50k, 125k showed up.

now you know why Hillary wants this so bad they know a dem wins it hands down.

  7. Brian says:

Want to have the Administration really scare you read this:

    http://www.fas.org/irp/agency/dhs/endgame.pdf

And a brief critique from the American perspective:

    1. I don’t appreciate them naming local PD’s as partners in their little gestapo paper. I will fight any inclusion of local law enforcement in immigration enforcement. That is the federal govt’s job.

    2. I have a real problem with contracted facilities operated by private individuals. If the fed govt. is going to detain illegals let them do it at federal institutions.

    3. That has got to be some of the most wiggle room language ever written. That shit can be intrepreted just about any way you want.

    4. I really got nervous when they mentioned that this is just a continuation of the alien and sedition acts.

I’m just waiting to see when american citizens start spending time in these confinemtent facilities.

Lovely guys. Lovely. Why not just dig the giant european ditches. Remeber Utopia is only one pile of dead bodies away. These European power politick ideas are not healthy for our country.

  8. Brian says:

Its fine, if the euronazi’s who are writing these laws want to pursue them with vigor and reinstate the Alien and Sedition Acts. Delaware should write something like this and send it to congress:

    Virginia Resolution of 1798
RESOLVED, That the General Assembly of Virginia, doth unequivocably express a firm resolution to maintain and defend the Constitution of the United States, and the Constitution of this State, against every aggression either foreign or domestic, and that they will support the government of the United States in all measures warranted by the former.
That this assembly most solemnly declares a warm attachment to the Union of the States, to maintain which it pledges all its powers; and that for this end, it is their duty to watch over and oppose every infraction of those principles which constitute the only basis of that Union, because a faithful observance of them, can alone secure it’s existence and the public happiness.
That this Assembly doth explicitly and peremptorily declare, that it views the powers of the federal government, as resulting from the compact, to which the states are parties; as limited by the plain sense and intention of the instrument constituting the compact; as no further valid that they are authorized by the grants enumerated in that compact; and that in case of a deliberate, palpable, and dangerous exercise of other powers, not granted by the said compact, the states who are parties thereto, have the right, and are in duty bound, to interpose for arresting the progress of the evil, and for maintaining within their respective limits, the authorities, rights and liberties appertaining to them.
That the General Assembly doth also express its deep regret, that a spirit has in sundry instances, been manifested by the federal government, to enlarge its powers by forced constructions of the constitutional charter which defines them; and that implications have appeared of a design to expound certain general phrases (which having been copied from the very limited grant of power, in the former articles of confederation were the less liable to be misconstrued) so as to destroy the meaning and effect, of the particular enumeration which necessarily explains and limits the general phrases; and so as to consolidate the states by degrees, into one sovereignty, the obvious tendency and inevitable consequence of which would be, to transform the present republican system of the United States, into an absolute, or at best a mixed monarchy.
That the General Assembly doth particularly protest against the palpable and alarming infractions of the Constitution, in the two late cases of the “Alien and Sedition Acts” passed at the last session of Congress; the first of which exercises a power no where delegated to the federal government, and which by uniting legislative and judicial powers to those of executive, subverts the general principles of free government; as well as the particular organization, and positive provisions of the federal constitution; and the other of which acts, exercises in like manner, a power not delegated by the constitution, but on the contrary, expressly and positively forbidden by one of the amendments thereto; a power, which more than any other, ought to produce universal alarm, because it is levelled against that right of freely examining public characters and measures, and of free communication among the people thereon, which has ever been justly deemed, the only effectual guardian of every other right.
That this state having by its Convention, which ratified the federal Constitution, expressly declared, that among other essential rights, “the Liberty of Conscience and of the Press cannot be cancelled, abridged, restrained, or modified by any authority of the United States,” and from its extreme anxiety to guard these rights from every possible attack of sophistry or ambition, having with other states, recommended an amendment for that purpose, which amendment was, in due time, annexed to the Constitution; it would mark a reproachable inconsistency, and criminal degeneracy, if an indifference were now shewn, to the most palpable violation of one of the Rights, thus declared and secured; and to the establishment of a precedent which may be fatal to the other.
That the good people of this commonwealth, having ever felt, and continuing to feel, the most sincere affection for their brethren of the other states; the truest anxiety for establishing and perpetuating the union of all; and the most scrupulous fidelity to that constitution, which is the pledge of mutual friendship, and the instrument of mutual happiness; the General Assembly doth solemnly appeal to the like dispositions of the other states, in confidence that they will concur with this commonwealth in declaring, as it does hereby declare, that the acts aforesaid, are unconstitutional; and that the necessary and proper measures will be taken by each, for co-operating with this state, in maintaining the Authorities, Rights, and Liberties, referred to the States respectively, or to the people.
That the Governor be desired, to transmit a copy of the foregoing Resolutions to the executive authority of each of the other states, with a request that the same may be communicated to the Legislature thereof; and that a copy be furnished to each of the Senators and Representatives representing this state in the Congress of the United States.
Agreed to by the Senate, December 24, 1798.

  9. Von Cracker says:

“As the title implies, DRO provides the endgame to immigration enforcement and that is the removal of all removable aliens.”

    Too vague for anyone’s comfort.

  10. Brian says:

Read the rest Von. There is more to it.

  11. Von Cracker says:

    Will do.

  12. nemski says:

Endgame? Really, that’s the title DRO wants. What, was Final Solution too obvious?

  13. Brian says:

Sen. Webb and Rep. Goode from VA know about it and they are both appalled. I wonder how our represenatives in Delaware feel? Anyone want to ask?

  14. the cajun says:

Nice rant, DV, now relax (Vegas, eh?) and breathe while I give you another tidbit: Larry (Wide Stance) Craig issued a press release yesterday, yes he did, and he’s advertising for INTERNS for the coming year..

Oh, and Glenn Beck thinks Rick Santoram is the Winston Churchill of the 21st. Century.

OK, when’s the next flight to Vegas???

  15. Brian says:

Can I leave for Vegas now too?

  16. the cajun says:

Well, Brian, either Vegas or Canada.

  17. Brian says:

hmmm. Vegas has more whores right?

  18. the cajun says:

In every sense of that word, I’m sure.

  19. Brian says:

Well Buenos Aires looks ok. Nice balance of whores and scientists.

  20. Brian says:

The deabte in my mind is do I want to be a fat horndog like Ben Franklin or a good guy like Madison….

  21. Brian says:

    How about you Cajun?

  22. the cajun says:

Seems you are already a good Madison, so it depends on how many STDs you want endure. I’m just sayin’…

Sorry I couldn’t respond earlier, I was heading out to work when I checked in the AM.

I am still concerned about the fear mongering that Dumbya insists on pushing on this country over the FISA bill and telecom immunity.
That’s why I liked DV’s rant. That thinking is what I am hearing here in lower slower and folks are scared. You know, blather, rince, repeat.

  23. Brian says:

    I hear you man…except for the STD’s….I think I got trichnosis from the spinach at the grocery store…… today….. I am just sayin….maybe its a phobia….maybe I’m a phobia.

Really, though, people are scared. I do not like seeing them that way. A free people should not have to live in fear. Didn’t a leader we used to have once say something about that? Also if I am a good Madison does that make you a fat horndog Franklin?

  24. the cajun says:

Being aware of the fear that permeates this mis- administration’ s rhetoric and give as much info as you can; with a caution that.
If we don’t get what we need that you’re all gonna die. ‘Oh, and even though I swore to protect the American people, I still have to save my shinny ass
