Don’t Count Your Chickens…
Harry Reid as the Comeback Kid?
A Republican civil war and some rather, well, fowl comments about health care might just be giving Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid a fresh chance at reelection this fall.
For months Reid (D-NV) has seemed like a goner as each one of his potential GOP rivals held solid leads in polls. But as the June 8 primary nears, the Republicans in the crowded field of challengers have turned on one another and the race is tightening. It seems Sue Lowden is no longer immune to the Republican intraparty wars sprouting up across the country as Utah GOPers boot a longtime senator and as Kentucky Republicans are sparring over the better candidate to run for Senate.
Toss in Charlie Crist’s resurrection in the polls and it’s beginning to look like the Tea Party’s strategy of world domination is in for a bumpy ride.

Bummer. I’d rather have a kooky freshman Republican than a weak Senate Majority Leader.
I’m not a fan of Harry Reid or Charlie Crist, anon, but I do not want another “kooky” Republican. It’s all fun and games until we’re saying President Palin.
What is interesting is watching the tea party’s plan not go, well, according to plan.
A tea party backed candidate is surging in the GOP NV-Sen race I read. Lowden might lose the primary.

Who could worse than Reid* My phone freaked out and posted the comment before I was done.
A person who thinks we should go to the barter system to pay for medical care is definitely worse than Reid.
Hmm true. Very few then.
And now for something on the lighter side

A person who thinks we should go to the mandate system for medical care IS Harry Reid.
If Reid were not Majority Leader, I would agree with you. But with Reid’s penchant for capitulation and weakening of Democratic bills, and his inability to smack down the Conservadems, he can and will do far more harm to Democrats than a freshman Republican.
