We should have a new feature.

Tom Carper Constituent Blow off Letter of the week.

All we’d have to do is run the same lame ass letter every week.

  3. Maybe, we could all write letters and then compare and post Carper’s responses? Do you guys really think they’d all be the same?

  4. Um. Is it plagiarism when Senator Carper’s office copies off themselves?

    DD,

That was snark. The letter is painfully formulaic and prefunctory. I’ feel like I’ve read that letter a dozen time, because I’ve read 3/4ths of it befor.

Carper could give a shit about what people write to him.

  6. It certainly is lazy.

I write the guy all of the time and his office sends back the usual lame-ass letter saying he’ll take my views into consideration.

Clearly, I am not on the DLC A -list.

    Pandora,

If we write four letters on the same topic, say “energy” and each take a different facet of the energy issue – I’m sure we’d get four identical letters back.

    I’m positive.

  8. Could be fun, maybe I’ll try it. Can you tell I’m bored?

    Slow beach day?

  10. Too many republicans on the beach. Have pity on me. I’m in serious Red country. I miss you guys and dream of September’s Drinking Liberally.

  11. No Name for Privacy

When I write or call the electeds I tell them not to waste time & money sending me a reply. “They” are not interested in me and position and I’m not interested in theirs.

I just hope they are keeping score and that my name ends up in the proper column.

You can get a cable from RadioShack and plug your PC into the good stereo… or a boombox, Bose Wave Radio, or anything with an aux input.
