   The joke in this skit is that Delaware is a cheap knockoff of New Jersey.

   Delaware is always the butt of jokes on the national stage. Wayne World’s Delawhere? The Simpsons and Family Guy poke fun always. In an old episode of Taxi, they made of Delaware by saying we had a debate in the legislature over whether to call ourselves Delawareans, Delawarites or Delawarers.

   I guess we just like to be mentioned.

   Being from Sussex County, I guess I don’t see anything like New Jersey here in Delaware.

   I had no idea we were perceived as being anything like NJ at all. How did you folks upstate let this happen?
