I am on a Holy Mission to annoy the fuck out of the state’s IT people by hitting “refresh” on the DOE results page.
The Delaware State News says Seaford board President Suzanne Farris was beaten by Michael Kraft, who I think is a pal of wingnut board member Frank Parks, and in Woodbridge, Paul Breeding beat wingnut Jordan Warfel. So a mixed bag.

Hurrah for the Fourth Estate, which posted the numbers faster than Ken McDowell’s crack squad of typing monkeys could.
Riviera won? Wow. BSD, you may be in more trouble than you think.
We don’t even rely on them anymore during specials or school board elections. We rely on the poll watchers on Facebook and other media outlets.
At the PDD meeting last week, we told everyone to support Kenny and Shirley and in Red Clay and Christina respectively. And they win!
I would like to give a big shout out to Kilroy, Transparent Christina, Delaware Libertarian, the Mind of Mr. Matthews, Children and Educators First, Delaware Way and Does Experience Count (did I miss anyone?) for excellent blogging – because if you were looking for information on these school board elections… the blogs had it!

Rivera came off more likable and nice family guy.
Wow, I was one of 229 who voted for Saffer at Downes. Great turn out!
So, what is the analysis here? I have my ideas, but was wondering what everyone thought of the breakdown at individual polling places?
My analysis, at least upstate, is that the anti-teachers union forces lost big. Rodel lost big.
I have some thoughts and am working on a postmortem post. There are lessens bigger than the school board here.

Race is a factor in any City of Wilmington polling place?
My guess is that if so, Rev. Chris Bulllock will swing tight in the city and in other AA enclaves in unincorporated NCC for NCC Council President. That will take the vote count down between Bill Dunn and Renee Taschner – a Clark clone who is a former county cop and is sweeping the endorsements.
And Taschner takes the seat. Not great.
Jen Burton opposes teacher tenure, so I don’t think the anti-teacher forces lost big in Sussex.
