I really hate giving this vile scumbag thug any publicity ….

Filed in National by on May 18, 2012

… whatsoever, but I have to pass along Mike Matthew’s and Steve Newton’s destruction of Evan Quietsch, which you find below. But first, Evan Quietsch, you say? Wasn’t he Christine O’Donnell’s hired goon? Why yes, yes he was.

And that is not the only video of Evan playing the thug. Here is another. There was another one on the Mall in Washington that got captured on film. And during the 2010 O’Donnell campaign, Quietsch had several run ins with former News Journal reporter Ginger Gibson. I believe he even pulled a chair out from under at one point, if memory serves.

And Remember when he was sued by for welching on his rent in the amount of $5,000.00? I see that he finally satisfied that judgment against him last month. After he filed to run for the 11th SD, by the way. Yes, I cannot fathom why he thinks he is qualified to serve in public office. But there he is, the presumptive Republican nominee for the 11th SD. Thankfully he will be vaporized into his component atoms by either Bryan Townsend or Tony Deluca in the fall election.

But it is his actions after the most recent school board elections that concern me. And I will allow the more eloquent Mike Matthews and Steve Newton to take it from here.

First Steve

Evan Queitsch has decided that newly elected Red Clay School Board member Kenny Rivera is a dangerous Communist, and apparently a shitty Christian as well.

Evan portrays this as a great struggle of conscience in which he reveals that in the context of Christian study groups Kenny revealed political and economic thoughts that in Evans’ limited intellectual grasp means he is the apparent heir of Lenin and Stalin, now elected to the Red Clay School Board to damn our kids with his Godless race toward total Marxist indoctrination.

Or something. The paragraphs are so monolithic that I lost track right about the time that Evan admitted that he was breaking confidences in Church study groups that he and Kenny had attended in order to denounce him.

Before we go any further, the Love is Christ Church in Bear must excommunicate, or physicall throw out the door, Evan Quietsch from its membership. The violation of confidence here is just so morally disgusting that he can no longer be trusted as a fellow parishioner. Indeed, his actions in this incident, as you will see, are so far from the moral example of Jesus Christ that I dare say no church can save him. If you agree, and you are a member of this Church, politely call (302) 838-0603 and inform them of the traitor they have in their congregation. Indeed, I hope Kenny takes this issue up with his church officials.

Steve goes on to say…

For the record: Kenny Rivera is a good man, by all accounts a great teacher, and I am proud to support him as a Red Clay School Board member. If you read this, and you agree, please visit Evans’ ridiculous little blog and make the following comment: “I do not tolerate McCarthyism. I stand with Kenny Rivera.”

I just did so, and a number of my colleagues have as well. I encourage you all to do the same here.

Now let’s move on to Mike’s great comments:

Let me first say this to Evan: I’ve tolerated you for long enough. You have infected the (generally) civil Delaware blogosphere with your now-transparent and bilious garbage for far too long. You are an odious individual for whom there is enough of a history of individuals who can attest to your outright thuggishness. Both verbally and on video. This is a man who latched on to the lunacy that was the Christine O’Donnell campaign and acted in absolutely contemptible ways to shield his candidate from being asked difficult questions. See the video here.

This is a man who attacks me as “corrupting 5th graders” without ever setting foot in my classroom. Without ever meeting the students I teach. Without ever meeting the staff with whom I teach. Without ever engaging me in a conversation on education. Ever.

This is a man who attacks my good friend Kenny Rivera as being an unfaithful Christian because he dares to ALLEGEDLY question the seeming incongruity of a balls-to-the-wall capitalist system stacked up against the major tenets of Christianity. A man whose hatred for Kenny Rivera is so extreme that he can’t offer more paragraph breaks in his hateful, tortured screed to make the piece of garbage easier to read.

This is a man who has attacked another good friend of mine, Frederika Jenner. I have no reason to defend Jenner here. She can do that herself, though I wouldn’t be surprised if she ultimately doesn’t give a good goddamn about the ridiculousness that has spewed indiscriminately from your microcephalic brain, Evan, to the tips of your fingers and onto the keyboard. In the nearly five years I’ve known Jenner, I’ve come to respect this woman for the lion she is. Get you two in a room together and you will hear her roar, though I must say you wouldn’t be worthy of her presence. I believe you and I have spoken once or twice at public events, Evan. Trust me when I say this: You are no match for Frederika Jenner.

Let me go one step further here, Evan. You have posted this absolutely vicious and hateful piece of garbage having announced yourself as a candidate for public office. You are running as a Republican for the 11th Senate District seat, which is currently held by Senate President Pro Tem Anthony DeLuca. What do you hope to gain by engaging in such outlandish histrionics against three individuals with whom you’ve ostensibly had very little contact? Your base understanding of our political proclivities leads me to believe that your worldview isn’t one in which much dissent is allowed. How will you govern 35,000+ constituents in your district, many of whom perhaps fall into some of the same categories you’ve identified to help launch your attacks against us?

Wait. Don’t answer that. You know why? There isn’t a chance in hell you’ll ever get to the point where you’ll be placing your hand on your precious Bible and taking that oath of office in the Legislative Hall. Ever. You really aren’t worth the time and sleep I’ve lost over this. However, there is a real permanency to this whole Internet beast. As long as your filth has been published then I feel I owe it to the individuals you’ve slandered (myself included) to offer a rational and reasonable response.

I could not have said it any better myself.

I am not trying to drive traffic to myself, but I am going to include the link because everybody needs to see this.

Evan Queitsch is using his DE Conservative Blog to attack newly elected Red Clay school board member as a communist and (no shit) bad Christian.

    http://delawarelibertarian.blogspot.com/2012/05/evan-queitsch-attempts-to-smear-kenny.html

If you want to go to the poison straightaway, go here:

    http://deconservative.blogspot.com/2012/05/kenny-commie.html

This needs a response from everybody.

  2. Aoine says:

i cant read that drivel – but i do have ONE question>

has Evan paid his debts off yet??

  3. Jason330 says:

Evan Queitsch is breaking the confidentiality of a Church study group to report that a member of the group made comments that sounded too much like Jesus and therefor is a communist.

    What.
    The.
    Fuck?

What ever records for lowly GOP sleazebaggy shitheadedness once stood, they have been smashed by Queitsch.

  4. puck says:

After reading this thread I realized I had browser tabs for Delaware Liberal, Delaware Libertarian, and DE Conservative. In that left-to-right order, actually.

  5. Jason330 says:

    Thanks for sharing bro.

  6. puck says:

Oh my. After reading this, I’m not concerned Kenny is a commie. I’m more concerned that he is going to a church that teaches God is a wingnut. Did Voices4Delaware back the wrong horse?

Maybe this will be his wake-up call he is in the wrong church. I know, “no religious test” etc, but I wish I had known about this before the election.

Here are the lessons they were studying in that “Church study group.” They are videos produced by Focus on the Family from a series called “The Truth Project.”

Lesson 9 – The State: Whose Law? (youtube.com/watch?v=gWgTIZ8pPKU)

Of all the social spheres, the state, to which God grants the power of the sword for the punishment of evil and the preservation of the good, has the greatest potential to go awry if it oversteps its authority. The civil magistrate must always remember his place under the sovereignty of God – otherwise, havoc will ensue.

Lesson 10 – The American Experiment: Stepping Stones (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkKye3J6Nls)

“There is a deep hatred for America within liberal academia”

“The foundation for this country is not the Constitution – it is much deeper than that.”

“America is unique in the history of the world. On these shores a people holding to a biblical worldview have had an opportunity to set up a system of government designed to keep the state within its divinely ordained boundaries. Tour #10 follows the history of this experiment and explores what happens to freedom when God is forgotten. ”

Seriously: The American Experiment: Stepping Stones??? This is millenialist talk.

There are more gems in this “church study” series like: “The Truth About The Right To carry.”

  7. Steve Newton says:

    puck

Don’t fall for this trap. It’s the same as condemning Obama for Jeremiah Wright.

  8. puck says:

Obama wasn’t in a “Hate Whitey” study group. That takes committment to the cause.

Steve – Kenny and Evan’s teacher says you have a deep hatred for America.

  9. Jason330 says:

Oh snap. Someone is feeling saucy today. FWIW I agree with Steve. My FSM’s house has many rooms and many study groups. He might have been trying to score with gullible chicks in that study group.

  10. puck says:

Okay, I can sort of buy the analogy with Rev. Wright in my head but not in my heart. Focus on the Family is an organized political group beyond any random commentary by Rev. Wright. It’s not like Rev. Wright was showing Weather Underground videos in the church basement on Wednesday nights.

These millennialist anti-government types are dangerous people and shouldn’t be written off as bumbling country preachers. An attraction to them is a mark of poor character.

If you really want to stick with the Rev. Wright analogy, this would be an extremely opportune time for Kenny to find a new church.

  11. xstryker says:

I think this just proves that Kenny is a liberal Christian, not a conservative Christian. The kind that does things Christ would be proud of.

  12. puck says:

Oohh – I know how to get you guys’s attention: Kenny and Evan’s teacher is a homophobe.

Maybe Kenny was just studying him for research purposes like Pete Townshend?

I’m starting to warm up to the Rev. Wright analogy more and more when I remember Obama left Rev. Wright’s church. Do the right thing, Kenny. Show those liberal Christian chops.

  13. Jason330 says:

This is a teachable moment for all Christians. Don’t trust other Christians, especially ones with satanic haircuts.

    (h/t xstryker)

  14. cassandra m says:

Violated my usual policy of ignoring the crazy of wingnut conservatives to go over there, read his bullshit and comment. I’m encouraging other DL readers to do the same.

EQ is one despicable little man.

  15. puck says:

Evan’s photo makes Nixon’s five-o’clock shadow look like a baby’s bottom. Or something like that.

  16. puck says:

I actually have to back off a little and allow for the possibility that this is a perfectly normal church with one bad study group, possibly sponsored or dominated by Evan himself. After all, I am an intermittent Catholic and my church has nasty little anti-abortion discussion groups that I never go to. So hang in there Kenny, but keep your eyes open.

  17. pandora says:

Evan obviously has deep psychological problems. He’s a sad, pathetic, little man living a sad, pathetic, little life.

  18. Steve Newton says:

@pandora your comment reminds me of the lyrics of Taylor Swift’s “Mean” 🙂

@DD thanks for the support; some things DO transcend political/ideological differences

  19. Delaware Dem says:

@Puck, I kinda had the same reaction you did when I saw “Focus on the Family’s” involvement in this. But then it occurred to me that in these discussions Kenny spoke up for the true word of God and the actual teachings of Jesus Christ, not the Christianist neofascist perversion of them, and that is what has Evan so upset.

  20. Delaware Dem says:

@Steve, like I have said many times, on social issues (which religion is a major one), libertarians and liberals think alike many times.

I personally love that according to Evan Q’s logic, Jesus Christ, the son of God, is a communist. That is the lesson I take from all of this.

  21. Joe Cass says:

While I’m saddened by any discomfort on Mr.Rivera’s part, I am positively jubilant with Evan, once again, disregarding boundaries of decency. He burned his own church group! I remember a story about some trick named Judy or something and thirty bucks. And the remark on Mrs.Rivera is totally creepy. Was it Quietsch hiding in the bushes? For the love of christ. lol.

  22. xstryker says:

    With apologies to Beck:

Something’s wrong ’cause my mind is fading
    And everything I write
    Is just commie-baiting
McCarthyism’s hopping at my rotten oasis
My hero Strom Thurmond was a lecherous racist

Heads are hanging from the garbage and sleaze
    Brainwashed with Limbaugh gasoline
    My pistols are pointing
    At a poor man’s pockets
Viloence and lies dripping out of my sockets

Got a devil’s haircut, but no mind
Got a devil’s haircut, but no mind
Got a devil’s haircut, but no mind
Got a devil’s haircut, but no mind”

  23. Von Cracker says:

    Psychological issues are a bitch!

But what’s worse is watching someone consistantly use words they do not understand. Quite sad, and I’m sure an embarrassment to those who know him personally.

  24. xstryker says:

    To complete the song:

Noise machines in a billionaire’s clutches
Check YouTube, see my bullying touches
Hitching my wagon to the teabag posses
Running for senate with the last place blues

Got a devil’s haircut, but no mind
Got a devil’s haircut, but no mind
Got a devil’s haircut, but no mind
Got a devil’s haircut, but no mind

Something’s wrong, ’cause my support is fading
    Commie-bashing, liberal-hating
Only Fred Phelps likes what I’m saying
And they know that my campaign
    Is a dead-end waiting

Got a devil’s haircut, but no mind
Got a devil’s haircut, but no mind
Got a devil’s haircut, but no mind
Got a devil’s haircut, but no mind

    Devil’s haircut! But no mind!
    Devil’s haircut! But no mind!
    Devil’s haircut! But no mind!

  25. kavips says:

Well that explains your fetish with the devil’s haircut. Until now, it came across just a little odd. (shiver, shiver)…

  26. anon says:

Evan Q, Christine O’Donnell, Bill Colley, Glen Urquhart, David Anderson, Eric Bodenweiser, Don Ayotte, Jeff Christopher, Vance Phillips-the worst Christians since the Spanish Inquisition. I hear Jesus got a conceal and carry permit just to keep these evil bastards out of heaven.

  27. Will McVay says:

Evan’s one of the few people that can put me on Tony DeLuca’s side of an argument.

  28. Sad says:

The problem with Evan, and folks like him, is he really believes he is on a mission from God… therefore NOTHING is off limits. Lie, cheat, assault people, slander others, etc… it is all ok because he thinks he is doing battle for God and the end result is all that matters.

Maybe the folks at EQ’s church could focus on “Fruits of the Spirit” or at least sing a couple of verses of “They will know we are Christians by our Love”…

  29. Dave says:

The problem with folks such as Mr. Queitsch is that what they really want (but either won’t admit it or just do not see it) is a theocracy.

What I have begun to see if that there is little distinction between between the American Taliban and the Taliban in Afghanistan when the only real difference is one of degree and of course who they worship.

Ultimately the American Taliban’s objective is to install a bible-based form of government where the Constitution is defined in context of what they believe is biblical intent.

Regardless of the details, the form, or construct, they desire a theocracy. It is insufficient for them to live their lives in accordance with a their code. Their intent is for all of society to live according to the same code. My concern is who will save me from the saviors?

  30. Will McVay says:

Dominionism. There was a whole article about it back when Bachmann and Perry were still pretending they could be president.

    http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2011/08/14/dominionism-michele-bachmann-and-rick-perry-s-dangerous-religious-bond.html

  31. Preston says:

It was fun watching COD crash and burn a few years ago, whenever she opens her mouth now we get a chuckle. It’ll be the same with Qieshe or whatever his name is.

  32. John Prickinson says:

Having read Evan’s screed with all the thoroughness I could muster, the only conclusion I could reach is that there is a better than 50-50 chance that he masturbates to old videotapes of Spiro Agnew.
