Chris Coons, War Monger and Saudi Arabian Errand Boy
As Coons continues to waffle and pretend he is tough guy (or act like it) on the Iran Deal, I figured I’d do a little lookie-loo back in time to see where else his shiny headed thoughts have bubbled and beaded similar nonsense that resembles a Delaware Way type of dissent. We all know it: the never ending sorta, kinda, wishy, washy, verbal non, almost in a way committal to your view and the 200 plus other views of Delawareans style of verbiage.
I didn’t have to go to far back to find Chris Coons once again challenging Obama. Questioning his strategy (however confounding) of diplomacy and not putting boots on the ground.
“After more than a decade of conflict in the exactly 13 years since September 11, 2001, I know Americans are tired of war. I know we are weary of war. And as the President spoke last night, it was clear that he is as well, as am I. But I would challenge today my colleagues and my friends as I challenge myself that though we are weary we cannot ignore the very real threats that we face today. We cannot ignore the brutal events that have taken place in northwestern Iraq and in eastern Syria. And we cannot ignore the threat that brutality poses to America and our allies. ISIS is a brutal terrorist organization. It has killed innocent Americans like the two brave journalists, James Foley and Steven Sotloff whom they beheaded.”
“In the case of Syria, Saudi Arabia has just stepped up and agreed to provide the funding and space to train and equip Syrian coalition fighters.”
Listen, I know you’re tired of watching midget porn, but if we stop watching midget porn, and take no longer watching midget porn off the table as option then what other options for porn are there? So, let’s keep the fact that we should maybe consider not stopping the watching of midget porn because if we do, it might mean we have no alternatives left after exhausting all other porn fetishes.
So now we know that Coons is a War Monger and has applauded the Saudi’s. The Saudi’s! Box Cutters and all. A country that really, if you look at them, shouldn’t be applauded, it then shouldn’t be a surprise that we see ads from Saudi Lobbyists telling us Delawareans to call the bald Marxist and tell him to vote no on wimpy talking to brutal terrorists. Not like the Saudi’s who are reasonable people. Just stay off the HOV lane to Mecca or they kill you.
Who else is surprised that these ads are from Saudi lobbyists? I mean, all this time I thought most of the pressure to not be a meshuganah came from the firm Rabbi’s Finklestein & Goldberg. I never considered it came from Al-Shabab-Adel-Muhjadenea-Haj-Afgars
So next time you see that number, jot it down and tell Coonie please for the love of god keep watching midget porn and, side with the Saudi’. Tell Coons you love what they are about and want to vote No on Diplomacy with Iran. Vote YES WITH SAUDI ARABIA!!!!! WAR!!!!! WARRRRRRRR!!!!!! grrrrrrr
Looks like he has been sitting next to Ted Cruz for too long.
Senator Coons, you sure are a tough-ass motherfucker. You are hard as nails!!! We get it.
To me, if you let people know that Saudi Arabia doesn’t like this deal and that it’s in the Saudi’s best interest for us to keep the military option more open, that is the a game changer.
That and midget porn.
Be nicer to midget porn.
I’d rather see the guy, take his time. read the report and way all the issues. Maybe he has a great deal of questions and wants to get all his answers, before making a willy-nilly decision. Give the guy a break!!
So you side with the Saudi’s then. Good to know.
If Coons were simply being diligent, rather than say being a attention whore, why wouldn’t he say so? If you’re a Democrat in the Senate all you need to do is sit on the fence and you can get a personal call from the President of the United States. Oh boy! He understands what he’s doing just fine. “Hey, look rich liberal Jews… I’m really torturing myself on this one…”
All he keeps saying is he really doesn’t trust the Iranians. Who cares? This line is wholly irrelevant because the deal isn’t based on whether one side trusts the other. If it did sanctions wouldn’t have been required to get everyone to Vienna for months on end. It’s a childish, stupid argument. The Iranians have every reason not to trust us either. We did precipitate a coup to overthrow their government and all…
midget porn is off the table then?
I respect Senator Coons for doing his homework and not blindly following the lead of an administration bent on handing the Iranians a nuclear weapon. That’s exactly what I’d expect a thoughtful, intelligent legislator to do. Chris was elected to represent Delaware — not the whims of King Obama. You can try to spin and misrepresent the facts all you want, but the inescapable reality is that this “deal” provides ZERO accountability for Iran — basically places a regime that has repeatedly lied about their nuclear programs and has told the world that their ultimate goal is war on the “honor system”. When will you wake up and get your head out of your ass? You can’t possibly be as stupid and gullible as your post implies …
That’s by far the funniest comment we’ll read today! King Obama… classic.
WAKE UP! Get your head out of your ass! Hahahaha. Really exceptional work.
Joking aside, just a little tip. When you write like that nobody takes you seriously.
Chris Coons was elected because a fucking wakadoodle witch ran against him. Let’s not make it sound like it was two Ivy Leaguers going toe to toe.
So once again I ask, do you side with the Saudi’s? And by that I mean, you believe the propaganda being sold to you by Saudia Arabia? Because what you are saying is the same thing they are saying, and the same reasons they want you to call him and say no to the deal.
You don’t find it a little concerning, that you’re view aligns with theirs?
You know what’s funny about Chris Coons talking about Iran’s trustworthiness? He’s the same guy who ran for NCCo Exec telling me tax hikes were necessary, while putting out a campaign flier pledging he wouldn’t raise taxes (he did).
And, unlike Iran, Sen. Coons brags about his degree in ethics.
Coons is thinking about Delaware. He’s trying to drum up more business for the military morgue in Dover.
If America were intent on giving Iran a nuclear weapon, wouldn’t it already have one? After all, when we decided it would be nice if Iraq would go to war with Iran, we gave Saddam Hussein chemical weapons to help him wage it.
America the trustworthy. You can trust us to give chemical weapons to a tyrant, and you can trust us to torture people despite having signed the Geneva Conventions.
The question isn’t why we should trust Iran. It’s why Iran should trust us.
I’m not siding with the Saudi’s. I’m just saying maybe he is trying to read over everything. Have all of you read the full document??
It doesn’t bother me at all that my position aligns with the Saudi’s. Nobody’s wrong ALL the time. At least their government officially rejects and condemns acts of terrorism (even if it’s only lip service), unlike the Iranians whose leaders embrace terrorism and war as their official policy and without apoogy. But I can admit when I’m wrong. Apparently you are actually that stupid and gullible….
So does your support of the deal mean that you agree Israel doesn’t have a right to exist?
Given its current status as a discriminatory Apartheid state, I wonder if Israel shouldn’t exist, yes. But you see, Israel has nuclear weapons, a lot of them actually, and Israel has a history of preemptively attacking their neighbors. So Israel will continue to exist for a long time. And if someone dared attack it beyond conventional weapons that someone would cease to exist.
So I am not at all worried about Israel. Israel, the junior partner in its relationship with the US, should start worrying about losing the financial aid we provide. Their evil Prime Minister has politicized his country along partisan lines, and AIPAC has destroyed its lobbying power, all because they love war.
“does your support of the deal mean that you agree Israel doesn’t have a right to exist?”
There is no such thing as a “right to exist.” The question is actually whether Europeans should be supported in expiating their guilt about their own persecution of Jews by supporting a European beachhead in the Middle East. Apparently you buy into the notion that Moslem persecution of Jews relieves Europeans of their own guilt.
Meanwhile, since you clearly know almost nothing about the deal, try this:

I am so bored with someone bringing up the “but they want to wipe Israel off the map” routine I couldn’t bring myself to respond. It’s the tired, vacuous argument of zombie brain.
I take it as a totally separate issue. So if you’re interested in something similar to my view on Israel read Peter Beinart’s brilliant “The Crisis of Zionism”. Usually one can’t be critical of Israel because – for the same reason some argue one can’t support the Iran deal – one will be slandered straightaway as an anti-Semite. It’s comical.
Additionally, Israel exists solely based on the largesse of the United States. (How do you think they got those tanks and nukes?) I don’t mind this fact. It’s fine. But a fucking ‘thank you’ once in while would be nice. It’s almost like the Israelis are trying to see if they can break the world record for squandering the good will of the free world in the shortest period of time.
There are parts of this that are not even public, soooo maybe Coons is seeing something that we the commoners are not even privy too.
Except all he’s said in public is that Iran isn’t trustworthy.
Isn’t mecca in Suadi Arabia? Don’t you think a few of the church goers there want Israel wiped off the planet?
Yeah, that’s a good argument… like Nixon’s secret plan to end the war in Vietnam. Is that what we’re going with now? Christ almighty this has fucking derailed.
@halfbrain
“Nobody’s wrong ALL the time. At least their government officially rejects and condemns acts of terrorism (even if it’s only lip service), unlike the Iranians whose leaders embrace terrorism”
that’s idiotic. It’s beyond idiotic.
@Dorian…the world record for squandering the world’s good will is nine months, set by George W. Bush between September 11, 2001 and the July 2002, when the Iraq War push began.
Wow. I had no idea there was so much hostility toward Jewish people in the progressive wing of our party. Sadly ironic given that some of our most progressive national leaders are Jewish.
Jews are great, they make great hot dogs and edgy news programs.
It’s the Saudi thing I worry about and our senator doing their bidding.
They got an army. A big one. It’s time they put on their big boy head wraps and brought some goat skin to the table
“The Jewish people” have nothing to do with this. We’re talking about the state of Israel. Two different things.
See what (s)he did there? That disgusting little smear that we’re anti-Semites. I’m not fucking standing silent on that. Let’s not let that off hook with such a brief, friendly reply…
Of course Geezer is correct, we’re simply critical of Israel not Jewish people. This was abundantly clear. I refered to a book written by a Jew. But the childish ploy to shut the argument down made a prompt cameo.
It’s vile, baseless slander because there’s no relevant response.
Also, DE Dem, duly noted on the blue ribbon for squandering good will. But the Jewish people rightly have had more on deposit.
