    General Petraeus’s plan is working! Well, the psy-ops part, anyway:

    March 2007: General Petraeus, commander of US forces in Iraq, asked last month to overturn the decades-long policy that separates the military’s “public affairs” branch from its “information operations” branch. via dKos

    And suddenly the good news from the front keeps rolling in, just as Bush is askingdemanding more money from Congress! Notice the new improved headlines now have all the Cheney buzzwords: “al-Quaida,” “Iraq,” September 11,” “bin-Laden…”
