Conservative Democrats who have been voting Republican for years are no longer Democrats. They just forgot to change their registration after the parties realigned in the sixties.
More facts – Democrats sleep in king size beds; republicans sleep in twin beds. That’s why there are more Democrats than republicans (can’t be fruitful and multiply when your bedroom resembles Rob and Laura Petrie’s).

Mike is right –spend an hour in Sussex (the reason why Delaware was one of the last to give up slavery. Lets get real…a lot of so called democrats are so in name only. They know the republican brand is lame and they can’t get elected!
Ummm, Liz – 4 of the 5 county council members down here in Sussex are republicans, as is the homophobic clerk of the peace and the register of wills. All but one of our state reps are also big, fat elephants.
