In which you can see the GOP’s problem in a nutshell without even seeing the video. If all you got is scaring people into voting for you because Hispanic people might be here, then you’ve just lost. Because this completely fails to engage the stuff that people in Delaware are most interested in.

Like we said on the other thread, the rhetoric is the same.
People should abide by the laws of the USA, otherwise you do not get the privileges/rights as US citizens. No driving, voting, etc.

I think most people agree that you should abide by the laws of the USA. Even the Bundys. The puzzle is that if the Feds can’t police their way out of the immigration problem, what the heck is local law enforcement supposed to do? The State of Delaware would (rightly, IMO) call any requirement to verify the citizenship of people the local law enforcement agencies come into contact with an “unfunded mandate”. Many law enforcement agencies don’t concern themselves with immigration issues, because they don’t have the capacity to deal with their regular calls for service. much less take up the work the Feds can’t do.
