“Take this screaming non tax paying pre-voter back please. There seems to be a malfunction.”

Friday Polling Report [9.28.12]
Now this ironic, from the Dallas Morning News:
“For all the talk about whether Mitt Romney should distance himself from George W. Bush — and the policies of the last GOP White House — a new survey shows that the former president actually has better favorability ratings than the Republican nominee.”
Well, we know Bush’s policies are still vastly unpopular, but Bush himself, by staying out of sight, as grown less hated. Even I don’t hate the man anymore. He’s a bubbling idiot and I enjoy laughing at him now. Indeed, Mr. Bush’s latest venture into public speaking will be right before the election in the Cayman Islands, and he will be speaking about investing your money wisely. I kid you not. No, this is not a headline from the Onion. Anyway, the most recent Bloomberg poll shows Bush with a 46% to 49% favorable rating as compared to Romney’s 43% to 50%.
No major changes in our map today. Indiana moved to Strong Romney, but that’s it. The rest of the polling confirmed prior results.

“One of the dogs that hasn’t barked in this campaign is the massive financial advantage Mitt Romney was expected to enjoy on account of nearly unlimited funds available to him from conservative Superpacs. Yet, even including the efforts of outside groups, Obama has been out-advertising Romney in the key swing states…[.] The full story of how the financial tsunami failed to strike has yet to be untangled, but bits and pieces have dribbled out over recent days.”

Look at that drop:

There are no changes in our state by state electoral college map, but here is is again for our viewing pleasure:

The Polling Report [9.26.12]
Wow. Just look at the new polls out this morning in Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania. Landslide baby. If Obama wins by those margins there, then he will also win in North Carolina, Missouri, Montana, Georgia, Arizona and South Carolina. Yes, I just said that.

The Polling Report [9.25.12]
The cherry on the top of the sundae that was the 2008 election was Obama winning the 2nd Congressional District in Nebraska. Nebraska is one of two states (the other being Maine) that apportions its electoral votes by congressional district winner and state wide winner. The statewide winner gets 2 electoral votes, and then the winner of each of the three congressional districts in Nebraska get one electoral vote each. The 2nd Congressional District in Nebraska encompasses the Omaha area, one of the more Democratic areas of Nebraska, relatively speaking.
After the “embarrassment” of having a Democrat win a Nebraska electoral vote for the first time since 1964, Nebraska Republicans first attempted to pass legislation eliminating proportional representation, but that failed. Then through redistricting, they made the 2nd CD more Republican. But a new poll has been released showing a tie in the 2nd CD between Romney and Obama. Wouldn’t be something if Obama wins that Nebraska electoral vote again? Indeed, I consider it a canary in a coal mine: a sign of the coming Obama landslide.

Is Mitt Dumb too?
I mean, he can’t be serious in the following quote, right? Because if he is, then … whoa. As you may have heard, on Friday, Ann Romney’s airplane had to make an emergency landing on Friday in Colorado due to an electrical fire in the plane that did send smoke into the cabin. Gratefully, nobody was hurt.
