As if you would need a reason to not read Politico, here is another one: a Politico reporter gets canned for telling someone on MSNBC that Mitt Romney is more comfortable around white people. How do you get fired for making an observation that pretty much everybody will make:
Williams noted that Romney’s preference for Fox & Friends, and similarly partisan settings, was interesting because it was “unscripted and it’s the only time they let Mitt off the leash.”He made the point that for Romeny to be successful he needs to broaden the range of people with whom he interacts.
Williams: Romney is very, very comfortable, it seems, with people who are like him. That’s one of the reasons why he seems so stiff and awkward in some town hall settings, why he can’t relate to people other than that. But when he comes on Fox and Friends, they’re like him, they’re white folks who are very much relaxed in their own company.
Forgot. It is a firing offense for political reporters to tell the truth about conservatives.

The Lies of the Lying Liar, Willard Mittens Romney, Pathological Liar Extraordinaire.
“We remember the president’s own party had a super majority in both houses for his first two years.”
A number of the more purist liberals also believe this. A super majority is Constitutionally defined as two thirds, or 67%. The truth is the Democrats never enjoyed a super majority in the House of Representatives nor in the Senate.
This is going to be fun….
Vice President Joe Biden at his campaign best. And if this campaign is all about Romney for the rich and Obama for the middle class, then guess what, we win.
NCCo Dem Executive Committee Endorses Clark-Taschner
Last night, the New Castle County Democratic Executive Committee endorsed Paul Clark for Executive and Renee Taschner for County Council President. The endorsement of Paul Clark is not a surprise. It would have been a surprise is they endorsed any one else. But I think the endorsement of Taschner is. Perhaps not over Bill Dunn, who is probably seen as an agitator by the Committee, though a damn smart and knowledgeable one. But over Chris Bullock? That is interesting.
Goodbye Frieda, and thank you.
Well known Delawarean environmental and peace activist Frieda Berryhill passed away today. She was well known in her efforts opposing nuclear power and weapons. She had turned 90 years old earlier this year. We are all a little less without her. I am going to post what appears to be an article about her that was posted on the UnplugSalem.org.

The lies of the lying liar named Willard Mittens Romney, pathological liar extraordinaire, are so legion and numerous that we can fill every open thread from now until the election and have room to spare, only going on what he has said so far in the campaign. So that is exactly what we are going to do.
The Polling Report [6.20.12]
So, I have decided to start counting Rasmussen’s polling in our Electoral College Map. Why? Well, they haven’t woken up and decided to be a nonpartisan and unbiased polling outfit. But as Markos Moulitsas says, looking at Rasmussen gives us a sense of the worst case scenario, for every Rasmussen poll adds about 4-5 points on average to the Republican total. So keep that in mind. If Obama is down by 3 in a Rasmussen poll, he is really up by 1 or 2. If he is up by 4, it is really a blowout in his direction.
So by doing that, we get a changed map, and you will see that below. The map will now include recent Rasmussen polls in Missouri (changing it to a Lean Romney state), Iowa (changing it to toss up status), Wisconsin (changing it to toss up status) and Michigan (moving it to Lean Obama status). Meanwhile, new polls in Colorado and Arizona moves the former in Lean Obama category, and the latter to toss up territory.
