Delaware U.S. Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell (R), now running way behind in the polls in her race with Chris Coons (D), told ABC News she is still waiting on a promised campaign visit from Sarah Palin.

Karl Denninger is a financial blogger who founded the group FedUpUSA in early 2008, and is recognized as one of the original "founders" of the Teabagger movement. But he now he says what we have all said long ago, that whatever geniune small government libertarian protest that existed at the beginning of the movement have long been coopted by the very Republican Party Denninger and others were protesting, and now the movement is only the radical social conservative bigoted base of the Republican base with a new name.

And now, for a change of pace, we have some breaking news out of one of the Sussex County Council races. In the 4th District, which surrounds the Indian River and Rehoboth Bays, Democrat Russ Melrath, who is challenging decades long incumbent George Cole (R), has been endorsed by the Delaware Chapter of the Sierra Club. Given the locale of the district, where environmental issues and over-development are top concerns, this endorsement is important. Meanwhile, George Cole got the endorsement of infamous constitutional expert Christine "really, is that what the First Amendment says?" O'Donnell.
