Cullis to fellate Tea Baggers.

Whoa. There is just way too much innuendo in that title for even me. Cullis will be speaking to the 9/12 teabaggers tomorrow in Milton. Now, unless the GOP is just going to give up the House seat, there is little to no chance that Fred Cullis will be the Republican nominee. So he might as well become the fringe candidate by going to a fringe meeting. Hell, this may all be orchestrated anyway, so that when Charlie Copeland gets into the race he appears downright sane by comparison.

Set in Stone

Writes Reid: “After the briefing, Gibbs went to the president for clarification. Gibbs then called me to his office to relate what the president said. The president told him it IS locked in — there is no flexibility. Troops WILL start coming home in July 2011. Period. It’s etched in stone. Gibbs said he even had the chisel.”

There goes that LIBERAL media again.

Chris Matthews, the supposedly liberal blowhard host of Harball on the Fox News of the Left, MSNBC, thinks that a military school like West Point is "enemy" territory to a Democratic President. That is a lie straight from the right wing, created I suppose because Democratic Presidents are not as wild about war and death as their Republican counterparts. Or I suppose it is a left over idea that all Democrats are unpatriotic traitors and thus any military institution would be enemy territory.

Valero

Valero closed today due to capitalism in action. The owners of Valero were losing money in operating the plant because demand for gas was low. Thus, by closing the plant, they hope to squeeze supply so as to make gas prices rise. And when gas prices do rise, we hear excuses from the oil and gas industry that if only we had more refinery capacity in this country, then there would be more supply and thus there would be lower prices!!!

Parents

“Former Vice President Dick Cheney and his wife, Lynne Cheney, welcomed their seventh grandchild, Sarah Lynne Cheney, Wednesday, November 18, 2009. She weighed 6 lbs., 14 oz and was born…

Moments of Rationality

Coburn is shot down and Huckabee sounds downright respectful of the President. Is this a new trend of rationality on the part of the GOP, or is it just insincere political maneuvering.

Scott Spencer’s “Silly” Altruism

Scott Spencer, a Democratic candidate for the open Congressional seat, is donating 10% of his campaign fundraising to the Food Bank of Delaware, and he is challenging all other statewide candidates to do the same, whether it be to the Food Bank of Delaware or another charity of their choosing. If you support and vote for candidates that pledge to do more for our common good, Scott Spencer's gesture is altruistic. If greed is your primary motivation in supporting and voting for candidates, then surely this gesture by Mr. Spencer is silly.

Question of the Day

How is it that it will take 'decades' for history to judge the success or failure of the Bush administration yet we know already that the Obama administration is a failure?"
