I said that I was going to write up some questions for Carper but I'm having a bit of a time with it. Anyone want to help me out in the comments section? Jason330: Senator, you've had a long career of serving your corporate benefactors. For a decent part of that I imagine you've been able to rationalize your zealous support of corporations by thinking that if "the economy improved" your actual humans in Delaware would benefit. So what rationalization are you working with now that your original rationalization has shit the bed so spectacularly? Jason330: Manchin and Hietkamp have an excuse, but you are the worst "Blue State" Senator by a mile. You vote with Trump more than any other Senator from a state won by Clinton. When it comes ot resitining Trump, your track record is utterly excrable. Was it that you just didn't give a shit, or did you think you were politically invincable? Jason330: I have to think you live in a pretty durable bubble, what with staffers and lobbyists kissing your ass all of the time. Do you have any real sense of how much working Delawareans loath you and are disgusted by your body of work?

Bill Powers appears to devote New Castle County resources to campaign

While we already he know that his campaign is financed by the people who want to pave over New Castle County - now it looks like Bill Powers is also using county resources in his campaign. Here is the FB page which is pretty standard. It directs to a campaign page. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but "...NCCDE.org " is an official county email. It is one I am paying for, and frankly I object to paying for an email address being used by someone who is loaded down with checks from developers. Also - isn't this what they got Tom Gordon for?

When wingnut firehose of vitriol opens up it can be a shocking experience. The level of hate and bile that Trumpers can muster up at the drop of a hat is unsettling. But is it honestly felt emotion based on the kind of legitimate differences of opinion  that are baked into democracy - or is it concocted?  The working out of a grievance that they will not address directly?   The hate-fest directed at Lynn appears to have been concocted by the NRA and Cindy Christensen, the wife of the Mayor of Dover.  As far as the NRA's role goes, this quarterly financial report is the smoking gun.

Dover Mayor Robin Christiansen's wife appears to be heading up a Republican smear campaign of Sean Lynn. Cindy Christensen, and a cabal Trumpsits are waging an online war against Lynn, possibly motivated by revenge against Lynn for his role in exposing Christiansen's malfeasance and corruption during the Chief of Police hiring scandal last February. The campaign is ongoing and includes a fundraising effort by Cindy Christensen which has resulted in a wave of Republican donations to Lynn's primary opponent. More as this story unfolds.
