Public Schools, teachers, parks, the incarcerated, the elderly, state employees, veterans? Show up at one of these and tell Carney who you think should be screwed.

Culture Beats Strategy

Once you've internalized this axiom; "Culture Beats Strategy" it is easy to easy to see every contest or competition through that lens. That was a nice strategy the Atlanta Falcons had last night. too bad that were playing against a team with a strong culture. A strategy is a nice thing to have. A culture is essential. When a team, group, company or family builds a culture it doesn't need for things to go perfectly. People know what to do in situations that haven't been thought through and game planned. A team with a culture has a lot of group cohesion around a few basic assumptions. People can take independent action because they know the organization's goals without having to be directed. A strategy is merely a list of things you want to happen. A culture operates on an entirely different plane. When Republicans beat Democrats with policies that add up to a lot of threadbare nonsense under the most fleeting scrutiny - they are winning on culture. Democrats seem to be constantly confused about this. They shouldn't be. Culture beats strategy. Group membership means something to people in a culture. Group membership is a means to personal ends for people executing a strategy. Members of a culture share values, spoken and unspoken, and you don't need to explain how any given policy fits into the values of a culture. It either does or doesn't on its face.

President Trump has kept his promise to nominate a Supreme Court Justice in the mold of Anatonin Scalia. He kept his promise last night when he announced that he had chosen Judge Neil Gorsuch for the High Court.... Already, the liberal elite are working hard to ensure that Senators Tom Carper and Chris Coons vote against Judge Gorsuch. They will use every means available to twist their arms so both of Delaware's senators fall in-line with their extreme progressive agenda.
One day Copeland is going to have to answer for what he did during the popular vote losers reign of malevolent idiocy. I suspect when that day comes, Copeland's excuse will be that he was just doing his job.

…from the desk of R.E. Vanella. So I’ve been having real trouble trying to describe my emotions lately. I’m a bit of a spaz anyway. Nervous energy. Broader-line Frenetic. I’ve been wound up even more lately, but at the same time exhausted. A lot has to do with the state of the neighborhood, I’m sure. From three doors away to three time zones away. I’m starting to think it’s survivor’s guilt. Affluent white guy with no kids. I could keep my head down and my mouth shut and with any luck get through this dangerous circus OK. But this is some very nasty business that simply cannot be ignored. People are going to be broken soon. For those already broken I can hardly imagine.

If you haven't called Coons and demanded that he show some spine, do so now. An irate call telling him to withhold consent and slow down this lawlessness White House is mandatory. Coons Wilmington: (302) 573-6345 You: There’s no reason that the Senate should be conducting business as usual when Trump is blatantly violating the Constitutiuon. I expect Senator Coons to act to uphold our values by committing to withhold consent on Senate business and use the filibuster to stop other legislation and Supreamcourt nominations.
