You are going to hear a lot about this, so I will not belabor the fact that I was right all along when I said that the Presidency is about politics and policy in equal measure. Nor will hear me talking about how early I diagnosed the problem, or about how much grief Obama could have saved himself (and the country) in the mid-terms if he had only listened to me. I'm not going to mention any of that.

I also remember saying something about how Bain Capital sounded like a company headed by a comic book villain. Team Obama could not have concocted more terrible optics for Romney.

Ayotte wins on points. Font size points. He has far fewer signs, but you can read his name. Glen Urquhart tiny red font on a dark blue background are impossible to read at 55 mph. Ayotte's fewer signs are impossible to miss.

More Republicans are suggesting that "they might want to start exploring whether it is too late to replace Mitt Romney atop the party's ticket." Given the growing concerns about Romney, it appears that Ron Paul's delegate strategy now looks like a "hail mary" for those within the GOP still hoping for a brokered convention.

Last night I got polled on the County Executive race. (It was clearly a Clark poll because the possible responses to the question, "How much do you love Paul Clark? ranged from, "A whole lot" to "So gosh-darn much".) Anyway, for the first time in a long time, I said - "I gotto go!" to a pollster. First of all, I did have to go. But I am also at a loss on this one.

This has to end poorly for Romney. He is hemorrhaging support in some key swing states, so he is either going to have to try and continue riding out the pummeling, or he is going to have to disclose his taxes and reveal the sources and purposes of his secret offshore accounts.

For the 64 offices being contested, the Democrats fielded 108 candidates. The Republicans have scrounged together a sad sack collection of .... (wait for it)... twenty-eight.

I'm not a huge fan of Stenny Hoyer, but i love how he takes the GOP to the woodshed on taxes in this statement.

That was the argument they made in 1993 — that we were going to destroy the economy; that deficits were going to explode; that unemployment would skyrocket, and that the stock market would tank....
