1) Sign the petition to demand release of his tax returns. It’s at 330,000 signatures and climbing.

2) Then call (or fax) Carper and ask him to support Sen. Ron Wyden’s bill to require all sitting presidents and nominated presidential candidates to release their tax returns for the past three years.

Tom Carper – Wilmington
Phone: (302) 573-6291
Fax: (302) 573-6434

Gotta Have The Wawa

Given that Delawareans cannot cross streets properly and bad planning, it really doesn’t seem like a great idea to build a Wawa across the street from the Concord Mall. It’s like they want to create pedestrian traffic.

General Assembly Post-Game Wrap-Up/Pre-Game Show: Weds., Jan. 25, 2017

Some days, you, meaning I, start to write this and then realize that there’s next to ‘no there there’. Such was yesterday. For you completists, here is the Session Activity Report from last Thursday. For you marathon completists, here is yesterday’s Session Activity Report. Two bills passed unanimously in the House, including legislation requiring that […]

What have you done to resists Trump today (Jan 24th, 2017) ?

First the pep-talk…

These phone-call prompts are working. I have two almost entirely non-political friends who have been motivated to make calls for the first time ever because of these posts and comments. Keep it up! It works!

We need to keep the pressure on Carper and Coons. They are on the front lines of resisting Trump. If they fold on resisting these nominations, they will fold on maintaining a Democratic filibuster. AND WE CAN’T LET THAT HAPPEN!

The vote to confirm Betsy DeVos as Secretary of Education has been delayed. The hearing of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions will now be held at 10 a.m. Jan. 31, according to an advisory from the committee.

1) Call Coons or Carper at their Wilmington offices (the DC lines are bogging down), and tell them to vote NO on the unqualified Betsy DeVos as Secretary of Education.

Coons Wilmington: 302-573-6345
Carper Wilmington: 302-573-6291

2) Text the Wilmington contact number to 2 friends.
