Kerri Harris – “I believe in the fight for fair wages. “

Kerri Harris can win this. If she does, it will likely be by running for a $15.00 minimum wage and for medicare for all - and not against Tom Carper.
Imagine working 40 hours a week, every week, and still not being able to feed your family, pay your rent or seek medical treatment when you need it. For many Americans, no imagination is needed. This is their reality. We have been told repeatedly that working hard is the pathway out of poverty. Clearly, this isn’t true. Millions of Americans go to work every day and still live below the poverty line because the federal minimum wage of $7.25 is too low. The last time Congress voted to raise the minimum wage was over a decade ago. Since then, wages have stayed the same while the cost of living has continued to rise.

Nicole Poore May Support Mass School Shootings

This is not complicated. Either you support mass shootings in schools, or you don't.
Senate Majority Whip Nicole Poore, D-New Castle, said last week that she is uncertain how she will vote. "I, like many of my colleagues, am listening to my constituents on both sides of the issue," she told The News Journal last week.

McConnell said the bill is unnecessary because President Donald Trump will not fire Mueller.
Coons is resolved to bipartisan his bipartisanship ass off even more bipartisanly next time. He is sure it will work.

As much as I enjoyed "Goldfinger" back in the day, I was always skeptical about the denouement, in which Auric Goldfinger, who's almost as fat as Trump, gets sucked out…

New Castle County Council is a ball of dysfunction

New Castle County Police want $200,000 for a SWAT vehicle because the SUV they had been using was badly damaged in the line of duty. Now, I'm not one who thinks the police should be militarized, especially when reducing the number of assault weapons with high capacity magazines on the street would be both more effective and cheaper. That said, it is hard to be on the side of Bill Powers, who comes off looking like an ass.
