One of the benefits of being snowed in this week is that I've had a chance to catch up on some blog reading, and discovered that I had missed this really good video about missing the one year anniversary of the commitment to close Gitmo.

Kavips lauds Scott Spencer's accomplishments and ideas, but is concerned that there is a better place for him in the party, politics, and in government than likely losing to John Carney. While Kavips is well intentioned, it is the losing to Carney that will air Scott's good ideas to the public, and his future in politics can wait until after the primary.

Reid found some courage today in scrapping a jobs bill that had nothing but giveaways to the GOP in it. Now he needs to use that new found courage to pass a real jobs bill through reconciliation without any GOP support. Do it, Harry. Do it now.
