Chief Judge To Step Down From Chancery Court.  Andre Bouchard.  One must ask the obvious question: Did he step down thinking that ‘I don’t need this shit’ from the relentless (4 years and counting) disinformation campaign of Philip Shawe and the ‘Citizens For A Pro-Business Delaware’?  Chris Kenny has a long way to go before […]

Coons Says Super Secret BiPartisan Senate Caucus Going to Spring into Action in Three Weeks – Gets Quizzical Looks from Anchors

Filed in National by on December 30, 2020 0 Comments

On CBS this morning Coons just said that his Super Secret BiPartisan Senate Caucus is keeping a low profile and not challenging MCConnell – BUT will come out swinging when Biden take over. Even the holiday temps staffing CBS This morning were not having it.

Jericka Duncan: Two attemps to raise the stiumuf failed in the senate. You are know for having good relationships with Republicans what are they thinking, and is this likely to pass the Senate?

Coons: The Senate will fail to raise the stimulus payments. But in three weeks we’ll “reset” and give Bipartisan Caucus a chance to come out of hiding. Especially if we win Georgia run offs. We’ll be cooperating an compromising our mother-fucking asses off. [paraphrase]

David Begnaud: Huh? How is this (bipartisan harmony and cooperation) all of a sudden going to work when Bidebn takes over? [paraphrase]

Coons: It’s going to be very difficult. [actual quote]

Song of the Day 12/28: Petula Clark, “Downtown”

Filed in Arts and Entertainment, National by on December 28, 2020 6 Comments

Given that there’s no sign yet that Nashville suicide bomber Anthony Quinn Warner left a suicide note, let alone a manifesto, people grasping for his motive have seized on the fact that he chose* this 1964 Petula Clark smash to blast over a loudspeaker in his RV between warnings to evacuate the area. Is there […]

Song of the Day 12/27: Incubus, “Pardon Me”

Filed in Arts and Entertainment, National by on December 27, 2020 1 Comment

This one’s for all the criminals, creeps and Republicans — but I repeat myself — who want a last-minute pardon from Donnie Two Scoops. This is the song that exposed Incubus to a wide audience. The version on the “Make Yourself” LP, released in 1999, is an alt-metal squall of sound that hammers home the […]

Trump always wraps his disgusting lies around a grain of truth.

NAFTA did suck – and it was the Dems fault.

The $600 stimulus check was a disgusting joke and the Dems voted for it.

He was right about those two things.
