When wingnut firehose of vitriol opens up it can be a shocking experience. The level of hate and bile that Trumpers can muster up at the drop of a hat is unsettling. But is it honestly felt emotion based on the kind of legitimate differences of opinion  that are baked into democracy - or is it concocted?  The working out of a grievance that they will not address directly?   The hate-fest directed at Lynn appears to have been concocted by the NRA and Cindy Christensen, the wife of the Mayor of Dover.  As far as the NRA's role goes, this quarterly financial report is the smoking gun.

Dover Mayor Robin Christiansen's wife appears to be heading up a Republican smear campaign of Sean Lynn. Cindy Christensen, and a cabal Trumpsits are waging an online war against Lynn, possibly motivated by revenge against Lynn for his role in exposing Christiansen's malfeasance and corruption during the Chief of Police hiring scandal last February. The campaign is ongoing and includes a fundraising effort by Cindy Christensen which has resulted in a wave of Republican donations to Lynn's primary opponent. More as this story unfolds.

I've been watching MSNBC in the morning, and while he hates Trump I've concluded - Joe Scarborough is the worst. - Dems in danger of "overplaying thier hand". Such absolute bullshit - The DJIA is the economy, and the economy is doing GREAT! Absolute nonsense. - Ronald Reagan was a God among men. Simple minded idiocy. - Trump isn't a Republican. Yes he is, you dick. - I'm cool because I like Phish. Puke. I'm agnostic on Phish. People like what they like, but middle aged white guys who will not shut up about how cool they are, and who stake thier coolness on what jam bands they like are a-holes.
