U. S. Senate D’s: Tom Carper routs Keith Spanarelli. Over/under on Spanarelli: 12%.

U. S. House R’s: Tom Kovach routs Rose Izzo. Over/under on Rizzo: 11%.

Here are my ground rules. Intriguing to me. And races that I consider to be competitive. So much for the ground rules. I admit that I know little about the individual races for Wilmington City Council, and only a little bit more about Sussex County Council primaries. So, I’m counting on all of you to provide insight and perspective. Not to mention your bouquets and brickbats.

When you look at total vote totals, Christine O’Donnell actually got more votes in 2008. Urquhart’s claim to have done the best of Republicans “in a while” doesn’t stand up to scrutiny.

A new Monmouth poll shows a shrinking lead for Chris Coons, 10%, compared to 19% in their last poll. The poll also shows Carney leads Urquhart by 7%.

John Carney leads Glen Urquhart by 17% (53%-36%) in the U.S. House race. Flowers and Bonini are tied (42%-41%) and Wagner leads Korn by 10%. Beau Biden has a 42% lead over the Libertarian and write-in Republican candidate for Attorney General.
