A member of the president’s entourage pointed at Holbrook after he first tried to get Bush’s attention. The man then ripped the pass from Holbrook’s belt after he shouted to the president, who was less then 10 feet away, again.
Holbrook said afterward that he just wanted to ask Bush how he enjoyed his visit to Rhode Island. Members of the media were not told they could not ask the president questions.
Talk about shock and awe. Not. Why be Bush when you can be a Bush thug?
They TOLD him not to ask questions. Now, if he made a statement, like, “You are dumber than a box of Texas rocks”, he would have been ok.

Ripped from his belt ! Sound like offensive touching ! No gorunds for physical contact they could have asked him to leave and escorted him out. But then again so much for the freedom of the press. I guess if he yelled ” your the greatest president that ever lived” then he would have gotten noticed.
