    How ’bout off the reservation.

    From the NYT, http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/02/18/more-on-the-war-over-words/

“Let’s see, I’ve written two books. I wrote most of my speeches,” Mr. Obama said. “I would add that I noticed Senator Clinton, on occasion, has used words of mine as well.”

Indeed, two of Mr. Obama’s standard lines – “It’s time to turn the page,” and “Fired up and ready to go,” – have made their way into Mrs. Clinton’s campaign appearances during their contentious fight for the Democratic presidential nomination. In recent days, echoes of his “Yes we can,” chant has surfaced in Mrs. Clinton’s speeches as “Yes we will.”

Me thinks she hears the fat lady singing.

When Hillary shouts “Let’s roll!” you’ll know it’s over.

That is what is so great about the Obama campaign team. They are on it as soon as a smear is attempted. If Kerry had a team like this we’d be talking about how bad Kerry was going to beat McCain in his bid for re-election.

  4. Rebecca says:

The Clinton campaign staff are so deep within the echo chamber that they can’t hear anything but their own brilliance, which isn’t so brilliant. It’s all unraveling and this is the time when people in campaigns do desparately dumb things. It’s sorta like your judgement after four or five beers. It’s seems like a great idea, but in the cold hard light, not so much.

It is also giving Obama’s gang a chance of practice for the ReThugs. So far so good.

Don’t “they” know that all you have to do is drink four or five glasses of Kool Aid to see the light.

Obama better pull this one off. We are all counting on him.

    Wisconsin Update

Same day registration + Open primary = Clinton has no prayer tomorrow.

From Obama’s website: The Wisconsin primary is this Tuesday, February 19. Wisconsin offers same-day registration for new voters, and any registered voter can vote in the Democratic primary. Whether you’re a registered Democrat or a Republican, a college student or a first time voter, if you are 18 or older and have lived in Wisconsin for at least 10 days, you can vote for Barack on Tuesday and add your voice to the millions across America calling for change.

So can we assume that since Wolfson stated that Hillary is not running on her ‘rhetoric’ (such that she could not be held accountable for the exact same action much like everything Clinton) that Obama should not be held liable for his ‘experience’? This was brought up at Swampland and seemed pretty interesting.
