What a joke!

Listen to this moron Charlie Copeland waxing eloquent about “open government” when just yesterday Harris McDowell admitted to Al Mascitti that he and VonCopeland met in secret with Randall Speck prior to the Blue Water Wind Hearings.

Fraudulence thy name is Copeland.

UPDATE: read Dave’s weak defense of Copeland (“not a fraud but a limp dick loser”) here.

Geriatric Castle Sighted At Oyster Eat

I know this is old, but it cracked me up.

Mike Castle had a body guard with him at the oyster eat for fear that some nasty blogger’s would show up and shove a video camera in his face and ask him some questions that he’d rather not answer.  Also, he was looking like every bit of ashen wobbly 99 year old that he is.

Selander Watch

Does anyone know if Brian Selander asked the big open goverment champion Charlie Copeland why he had a secret meetings with Harris McDowell and Randall Speck prior to Speck’s three hour grilling of Arnetta McRae?

I mean Selander is supposed to be the counter weight to that out and out ass Rick Jensen right?

Mike Castle Supports Torture…

The House just voted down an attempt to override the President’s veto of the intelligence authorization bill late last week. The final tally was 225-188 (with five Republicans voting for the override and three Dems voting against) about sixty votes short of the two-thirds needed.

How can we not get someone to run against this guy?

If you don’t believe me click here to see Mr. Castle voted…

You sire are a disgrace to this state. I think we have a worst person nominee…

So Republicans stood strong behind the president. Almost all Republicans, including Sens. John McCain (R-AZ) and Lindsay Graham (R-SC), have agreed with his take that robbing the CIA of its battery of “enhanced interrogation” techniques (which have included waterboarding and inducing hypothermia) “could cost American lives.” Of course, a number of military officials and the FBI have a different take.

The bill would have restricted the CIA to the Army Field Manual’s guidelines for interrogation

Business Reporting Sucks

It is as if they are all public relations firms and they all have on client: Wall Street.

For instance, check this out.

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Retail sales fell at the fastest pace in at least five years and could tip an already fragile economy into recession, according to a private report released on Wednesday.

Could tip…..fragile economy…..into recession…? Ya think?

The TV business news is even worse

No idea if these campaigns are making arrangements for live blogging of these events, but they certainly should.

Who is going?

OFAC Country Listings

Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), a department of the U.S. Treasury, administers and enforces economic and trade sanctions primarily against:

1. Govt’s of countries targeted by OFAC Regs
2. Terrorism
3. International Narcotics Traffickers
4. Proliferation of WMD’s

I was doing some training today and this list sort of struck me:

OFAC Country List
Balkans
Belarus
Burma
Ivory Coast
Cuba
Liberia
Democratic Republic of the Congo
Iran
Iraq
North Korea
Sudan
Syria
Zimbabwe

Anyone See any International narcotic countries on this list? Can anyone list the country on here that doesn’t have oil?

I love this statement

Regarding a “Do Over” in Florida…

In a statement, House members from Florida said they were committed to working with the DNC and state officials to find a solution to ensure that their 210 delegates take their place at the convention. However, “Our House delegation is opposed to a mail-in campaign or any redo of any kind.”

call me f’ing crazy, but wouldn’t the solution have TO FUCKING NOT HELD THE PRIMARY as early as you did and were told not to? I love politics.

“This election is too important to do something that potentially could be fraught with mistakes,” Hunter said.

I guess it’s true that people in politics don’t have foresight, much less foreskin
